I can't believe I am having this dilemma! I was all set to order Unfrogettable but now that I am getting ready to do so, I am getting cold feet! I have looked at all the cards posted...all great! I think its cute but now I can't decide!! Any one have any feedback to sway me one way or the other? Maybe its the price, I just don't know...:(

I have lived without it.... As cute as it is... Just think if you don't get it that is all the more money to get something you just "have to have" when the new catty comes out!

It is a cute set, but I too have been able to live without it. Just can't see where I'd use it.

I have it, and I'm glad I got it!

I just made a card for a friend, because I forgot (frogot ;) ) to send her something I promised I'd send.

I had a seriously lack of sets for little boys and I thought the frogs were just perfect for that. Although I think SU has a few little boys sets up their sleeves for the new catty ;)

Not trying to convince you either way, just thought I'd chime in.

I also have it and LOVE it. I have two little boys but can also see this set appealing to little girls too! I don't have too many cutesy sets and this one just fit the bill for me. I've found that if I like something, I get it vs having buyers remorse.

I wanted it when the samples first came out, but I'm not getting it. It's cute, BUT... not a long lasting cute. The drawings are too cutesy with the simple lines and buggy eyes. I'd make a couple of cards and then forget about it for a better set or stamp that came along next. And it's a style that won't really fit a lot of people and I want to make cards for other people and not just for me.

yes, because after the set retires (most mini sets will not be in the new catty) it will be worth BUNDLES on ebay!

So if you decide later you don't want it.... ;)

I decided I had to have it because I loved all the cards in the gallery, but I think you have to be more "arty" and creative with this set...so honestly I probably won't get a lot of use out of it...I'm not too arty...but I LOVE frogs. Is there a retiring set you really want? You might want to go that route instead, since you already have doubts. Just a thought. Good luck, it's so hard deciding!

thanks everybody...keep the feedback coming...I have decided to only get one background from the retired list...so thats not really an issue...the ebay idea (mamakimberly) is a good one...I always forget about that, but usually once I purchase something...I dont want to give it away...even though I might not be using it...you just never know!!! I have two girls so the boy thing is out the window too...thanks for the insight...I'ma Libra so I like to "weigh" all my options!!!!

I hesitated too, but eventually decided to get it - and I love it! I don't have any kids yet, so I don't have any whimiscal, fun, kid-like sets, but this one seems to appeal to both kids and adults. I loved the phrases, and I especially love using it with the eyes from Michaels that move when you jiggle the card. Besides, like it was said earlier on here, you can always sell it later, when it's retired! :-D (I do that a lot more than I'd care to admit! - But only retired ones!)

I have mine on the way! I have a little girl and a nephew who I am very close with. I know this set will be used. I LOVE it. I also love frogs so, I'm sure I won't have a problem coming up with creative ideas.
TO each their own though. I loved it the moment I saw it and knew I had to have it.
Best of luck on your decision!

I am having the very same dilemma! I LOVE the looks of it, but honestly, it just looks like so much work to use this set ... and so much cutting for many of the cards ... so I'm not sure ... maybe I will save my money for the new catalogue also. It is cute though ... I hate when I cant decide!!!!!!

I think the set is cute, I just love the snail, but I didn't get it because I know I would not use it.

Save your $$ for the new catty!

I liked it and after seeing all the cards in the gallery liked it more. Still never wanted to buy it though. Then I decided to buy it and I LOVE it, use it alot for boy cards made my dad his birthday card withit. I also think it would be cute for girl cards. It's hard to decide since you know it's gone forever after this month.

I've been having the same struggle!!!

I cannot draw worth beans....but I gave it a try.....and I can draw the frog!!! and the snail and the dragonfly. I too feel like I may not get that much use out of this set so I figure I'll just freehand my own little version of that cute frog when I have the fancy!

Give it a try, you might surprise yourself - it's actually quite simple!

Good luck

Here's my reason why this is a must have: I'm sick of flowers. I mean how many flowers can I stamp, cut, color, cut?? Ok, I just got another flower set, but that's beside the point... This set is cute in a fun, hip way, as opposed to an old fashioned way. It is different. You can put those frogs in a lot of places!! Think of using an alpha or the computer for a million different events: "Hoppy Birthday" "You are toadally awesome", etc. "Hoppy New Year", etc. I'm not usually into this kind of set, but this one is exceptional in my book!

I have an almost-3 ds who's been telling me that he's "jumping like a frog, mama!" even before that set came out! It's a must have for me, can't wait to use it in his scrapbooks! And I made a card with it for the first time tonight, I love that set. If you're not loving it, and not sure about it, then don't get it and find something that you love. If later it's going for big bucks on ebay after the mini period is over, (think Monkey Business lol), will you kick yourself? Good luck and have fun with whatever you chose.

Mine is on the way - I finally gave in and ordered it. I just don't have alot of stamps that work for kids cards and I thought it would work for kids and also for adults.

I wont pay the ebay prices either (for the most part!)...it is cute, but my kids aren't "frog" kids...I usually go for the more universal sets...its just that everyone has done such cute things with it...maybe I should try freehanding it and see what happens! There is still a chance it could end up in the big catty, right? thanks everyone for the input...

You said it! I keep going back and forth myself! On the one hand I love the samples and my son (11) loves frogs, on the other hand I could just draw them for as often as I'll use it (so much money for something so simple), but I could use it for kid birthday cards, but I usually buy the cheap ones for kids since they don't actually look at them, but I don't want to have buyer's remorse when I see it on ebay, but...
You get the idea.
It's not easy being me.
Guess I'm no help.

I was going to get it but changed my mind. Experience tells me that when I order the "cute" sets, I end up not using them.

Hi. I have the set and LOVE it. I have made kid as well as adult cards. I love to use Stickles for the snail trail. I have been using the frog for spinner cards - very cute.

Let me start by saying I don't do 'cute' when it comes to stamps. I bought Olive You thinking it would be a great 'cute' set, but I still haven't used it. So my mom bought me a bunch of sets for my b-day in March. Most of them were from the Spring mini. She bought Long Time Friend and Unfrogettable. I didn't think I would like either one. Now I use both of them all the time! Those little frogs are the cutest thing. I have cut out a couple, but even half of them. I just mask most of them when I want to layer them. I did a fruit can(with M&M's) for my dd's teacher this week, since she(the teacher) loves frogs. She liked it so much she won't open the can. I have made cards for my husband, my kids, my friends, teachers, you nmae it. I think it is one of the most versatile 'cute' sets I have seen. I think it will be like Monkey Business after it retires. That is if it doesn't make it into the new catty. I would have never bought it myself, but you couldn't pay me enough for me to part with it now.

I decided against it. I love all the cards that are made with it, but I can't imagine who I would send it to. My son is 7 but his friends would not appreciate this set, it is way too childish for them (they prefer the skateboard/mountain bike/Rip and Shred sort of sets) and I can't imagine a friend I would send it to either, so I passed and I don't think I will regret it.
I ordered Frolicking Frogs instead, this would appeal to my husband and his friends' sense of humor!

I bought it and I use it all the time. The frogs are so great for little boys. The sentiments are cute. I'm getting so much use out of mine. It's one of my favorite sets now.

I didn't want the set until I seen some of the great cards in the gallery..then I had to have it. I got the set and have only used it once or twice, not quite as much as I thought. It is a cute set though! Anyway, I think you should go ahead and get it. If you find you don't use it often or don't care for it, you can always trade or sell it later! At least that's what I tell myself when I want a set that I'm on the fence about
