So after seeing all the BEAUTIFUL samples of faux stitching on here recently, I finally caved last night and purchased the SU white gel pen as part of my hostess benefits.
I know I can:
1. do faux stitching
2. dot the center of flowers
What else can I do with this thing? Please give me some ideas/hints, and feel free to link any cute cards!!!
TIA!

Say you stamp an image on darker card stock you can use the pen to outline it to make it brighter! I use it in my espress yourself to outline the steam to make it white and for the marshmallows too.

I often make my cards with dark colored cardstock and used to have to cut a piece of white paper to go inside, not anymore. Now I just use my white gel pen.
I need a white pen like the one mentioned in these posts, but I need it this weekend......is this pen sold in any stores?????? I need to write on black cardstock.......

I haven't read all the replies, so forgive me, if the following have been mentioned already:
1. It can be used on acetate to color in images or doodle, etc.
2. I use it to put polka dots on matte finish buttons, yea!
3. It can be used to simulate the crayon resist effect
4. It can be used to indicates highlights on stamped images
5. I like using it on black card stock to make stick figures that resembles a child's drawing's, writing, or primary math equations in chalk on a blackboard--fun for teacher cards!

I've never seen it in a retail store, despite comments from others to the contrary. :(
The Sakura Glaze or Souffl White Pen (Opaque) could be substituted, if you can find that. I own all of these and I still prefer the Uniball over every other white pen I've ever purchased. But, as you said, you need something right away . . . write slowly, to allow the ink to flow without skipping and avoid frustration. I recommend practicing on a piece of scratch first, before working on your actual project.
The Sakura Pens were designed to work best on non-porous surfaces (such as glossy card stock and acetate, plastic, etc.), and results on card stock are varied. After some experimentation, I found that the notation on the packaging in that regard was pretty accurate.

I have gone searching for the Uniball Signo at Michael's stores in several locations in WA state, because folks have said they found it in a Michael's.
But, in every instance, all the white gel pens I did find were not that pen specifically. It is possible they carried it, but may have been sold out?????
If I sounded like I was implying Michael's doesn't carry it, I apologize--what I meant was just that I have gone looking and never had any luck finding it . . . at least, not yet anyway . . . ;)
I've also checked out big chain office supply stores that have all kinds of Uniball pens, even Uniball Signo Gel Pens, but not the white one, interestingly enough, which I found odd . . .

I went to Michaels just yesterday evening and this pen was on my list. The only one I saw was a Marvy white gel pen. Didn't look good...going to wait on my pen from SU!
