Do you prefer to sit or stand when stamping/scrapbooking? I prefer to stand at counter height tables, but want to see what the rest of you do. I am adding some tables to my stamping area for friends and don't know what kind to get. I found an adjustable height table, but it was smaller then the I like to work with, but like the options. On the other hand, the plastic utility tables have more space. What about round tables that you sit at?
i like to sit because then i can relax more and i have things at a better level for me. i always have to option to stand for certain things like stamping the background stamps.
I stand most of the time because it is easier for me to move around and reach across the table etc. I only sit when I am at my demo's house for our monthly gathering.

I prefer to sit (more comfortable) but I find myself mostly standing. I always seem to need something while I'm stamping that I didn't think of, so once I'm up getting whatever I forgot, I always seem to stay standing. I'm planning my stamp room for our future addition, and I'm making sure I have an area to sit and to stand.
I prefer to stand. I have a extremely small stamping area and I find that I have to move around alot to get at all the things I have crammed around me. I have a stool, ut use it mostly to put things on!!

I have to stand for cutting, stamping larger images and just gathering supplies from around the room. Once I'm ready to add color or assemble the card, I sit.
I stand most of the time. When i color or do detailed work I will sit. My feet begin to hurt if I stand too long. But if I sit my shoulders and upper back begin to hurt. So....... Which hurts less... Although being on the computer hurts my upper back too. So No pain no gain.. right.
I sit as I cant stand for long periods, but then I sit and stamp for too long and forget to move around..... so I do have to be careful and not get too comfortable.....

I sit, stand, stamp on the couch, on the floor, in the passenger seat of my van, I have a wooden board that I use as a hard surface, and even when I am at my stamp table for long periods of time (ie:VSN) I end up stamping on the board on my lap. I am strange, but I am glad someone posted this because I was wondering if I was *weird*strange.

I'm usually standing to stamp or scrap. I do sit when am writing or coloring in or whatnot. I think I feel I have a better view of my project when I am over it or something.
I sit, although I might stand to lean over and see if something is lined up right, but then I'll sit when I actually stamp. I too have made cards sitting on the floor
I wouldn't like to stand to stamp, stamping is relaxing for me.

Stand or sit
I almost always stand...being that I am right at five feet and my left arm is paralyzed..it simply gives me better leverage...but I sit when my daughter is demoing or hosting a stamp camp...???
I will sit to color or write...
But then I only sit when I am at this computer or driving or riding in a car...eating or at an appointment or reading ...I usually am on my feet most of my waking hours...
