Question sizzix onesie

Hi Ladies,

I just made a card using the sizzix onesie andit doesn't seem to fit in the A2 size envelope and they A7 size is way too big. Anyone know which envelope will fit it?

Thanks in advance for all of your help.

Michele

from the webbie:

The assembled measurement of this die-cut shape is approximately 5-1/8\ x 5-5/8\.

So yeah, it won't fit.

That is the main reason why I wish that I hadn't bought the onesie die. I made one and had to hunt around here to find an envelope that it fit into but I don't know the Asize it was. I haven't use the die since and go back to the make one with a circle punch method when I want a onesie.

Here's a chart of standard envelope sizes:
Capitol Press - Envelope Sizes

You could use a 5-3/4 inch square envelope...and that is probably what the card was planned for. But that envelope requires a postage surcharge.

Here's a template for a square envelope that you can enlarge or reduce to whatever size you want. When I printed the file as-is, it makes a 4-3/4 inch envelope. Enlarge by 121% to get a 5-3/4 inch envelope.

Hi Kilroy,

I have been searching high and low for this die here in Australia and am having no luck! I see you aren't particularly fond of the die, and was wondering if you would be interested in selling it. I of course would pay all postage costs to Australia as well if you're interested.

Anyway, you can email me at [email protected] if you'd like to give it a new home!

Karen

Not sure if this matters at this point, but you can always put the card in a padded envelope to mail. I do that ALOT, anyway.
