I live in New Mexico -- it doesn't snow in Albuquerque but maybe 2-3 times a year and melts by the end of the day. Not now!!!!! Last week we had 7 inches and now it has snowed non stop for 2 days and is supposed to continue until 5 AM Sunday. We have 15 inches so far!!!!!!!! And I'm not in the area with the most snow!!! And it is still coming down. It's a winter wonderland. Everything is closed -- all highways over the entire state and up into Colorado. It's crazy!!! No stores open, church is cancelled for tomorrow -- New Mexico doesn't get its roads plowed that quickly so it is a free for all on the roads!!! We stay home. And another big storm is coming for Tuesday!!!!!!! Wow!!!
Anyway -- it's fun. A day to stamp!!!

We're still digging out in CO. THis second one didn't bring my area as much as was predicted - we only got about 10 inches I think. But that's on top of the 26 that we got last week. It's a winter wonderland here, too!
I hope your power stays on! We are just getting ice in NE where I am -- I would rather have the snow. I can't get out of my driveway -- it's at an angle and I would slide all the way down in my car. EEK! But at least we have food, heat and power. Last week's ice storm knocked out our power for 3 days -- across the street our neighbors had all their Christmas lights on - but our block was out. Stay warm and enjoy your stamping day!
The power has flicked on and off occasionally, but so far, we're good. Have lots of food -- just made a big stew and homemade bread -- great for a snowy day. Getting the hot chocolate going -- no TV until I go and clean off the satellite dish. When you go outside, it is up to your thighs -- and I just haven't had the desire to go and get the broom out and shovel off the satellite dish!!! I'll get my son to do it. He gets to go out and shovel the driveway!!!! And he's home from school in Utah. Says he just can't get away from the snow. But -- he said this is more than he has seen in Utah in one day -- and he's been there 4 years at school. It is beautiful!!! Andd.... it's still coming down!!!! We could get another 6-12 inches by tomorrow morning -- to our already 15 inches or more by now. I am a Texas girl -- I have never seen snow like this -- and I have been in Albuquerque 32 years -- and it has never snowed like this. The storm was supposed to be a small one !!!! Funny!!!

You can some of it to New England! :-D The ski areas are really hurting and the skiers aren't too happy either. We're supposed to get a dusting to an inch today, then it will be back in the 40s next week.
I'd love to trade with you! I live in Maine and we haven't had any yet (except that it is snowing right now. They say we're only supposed to get 1-3" though. I want more so I can go snow shoeing. It was another brown and green Christmas! YUCK!
I live in NH and we are finally getting a little snow. The forecast was for 1-3 inches but we have gotten more than that. I, too, want to go snowshoeing! But it is a good day to stamp!

We usually get PLENTY of the white stuff, but so far have barely had a dusting of snow. It was 60 here yesterday. We are usually at or below freezing this time of the year.
Send some my way! I'm in northern Minnesota & we just yesterday got enough to cover the ground - 1-2". It's melting already though...Not great for skiing & snowmobiling!
The storm is stalled over new Mexico and we are in a winter storm warning until 5Am tomorrow. We have NEVER had this much snow in such a short period of time -- it is hitting records!!! The snowiest December in history, the most snow in one day. We are inching up to 2 feet!!!!! in 2 days!!! for New Mexico -- in Albuquerque -- not other places -- that is amazing. They get it in Taos and often Santa Fe and up north, but not HERE!!! I just keep looking out in amazement!!! It's fun,.

Well I guess we decided to share the snow with you because we have had only a dusting......and it is not even as cold as most years ...very very unusual for us.

I can't understand why the snow is missing us. I love the snow and would consider one day retiring to a colder climate just for the snow....maybe I should move to New Mexico....ha ha!

I live in Gallup, NM and the snow went right around us. You'd think since we are 6,500 ft. we'd get more snow, but it always misses us. Enjoy it!!!!! aj
I miss Albuquerque and the snow!! I'd trade you today. We have the AC on here. Sigh! It just doesn't feel "holiday-ish" when you are sweating, have frizzy hair (from the humidity), and have to run the AC.

I live in Northern Alberta, Canada and for the last few years we've hardly had any snow until at least January (unusual for here!) but this year we got our big dump of snow in NOVEMBER...right around the beginning of the month. It snowed for days before it stopped. We're used to crappy roads though so nothing shut down or closed! It has to get to -40 before the windchill to actually close stuff up. We've not really had any snow fall since November and we'd really like some...hoping we get a bit more yet this year as we have a few forts to build in the backyard!
Stay safe & warm everyone!

Still snowy here in Colorado Springs too! We probably got another 10" on top of the 18-20" we got last week. I'm glad that I took this week off from work and don't have to worry about driving around in this mess. From what I here, the streets are just solid ice (as the wind has been blowing tremendously).
Hello everyone!! I am in Lamar, CO and the snow continues to fall! While it is beautiful, we could use a break! It has been snowing here since the wee hours of Friday morning. The drifts at my house are about 6 feet tall in certain areas (from the wind we had) and my pickup is completely covered up!! Just wishing we had a snowmobile to get out and play a bit! Oh well, lots of stamping to do and it's not near as cold to work on the scrapbook that is oh so far behind!! Good days to do this!
It's good to know there are snow lovers out there 'cause I'm definitely not one!! So far this winter we haven't had a whole lot and that's just fine by me. Hope your power stays on so you can enjoy some stamping!
I would like some snow, we here in the southwest Iowa are getting rain. I hate the rain, but i hear that our temp are to go down to were we will get some snow with ice. I bet we get ice before snow.
I am in Loveland Colorado. Got 26 inches last week and another 10 on Thursday....It is absolutely crazy! And to boot, the last go around missed us, thank goodness!!!! Definately not the norm........
No snow in Iowa...I was dreaming of a white Christmas, but it was yellow-brown instead :( We are being teased with the chance of some snow on Monday but temps are supposed to go back up to the mid 40s by mid-week so no chance of it sticking around.
My parents called today and said they were at a foot of snow. But I guess there will be more. They live in Rio Rancho, NM.
That is unbelieveable!! All the snow. How much is in the mountains?
Hope you stay warm.

Yes White snow is much prettier looking than old Brown.
In the winter in Illinois it would be much better on Coudy days if it were bright white.
LOL You guys must be getting all our Minnesota snow - Here in the cities we have had 1 day of snow which turned to slush and was gone. Right now its raining outside and no snow - wierd huh....
