Snowflake spot is more contemporary, but snowflakes has a coordinating brassy template that I think makes it a better choice. I love both!

The answer to your question is YES. *giggle* I think everyone needs both sets. If you can only get one right now, I agree with Joan B that you should get Snowflakes. The brass templates just add so much to a card/project.

I vote Snowflakes as I feel it is more versatile.

I have the snowflakes set and everyone loves it. When I demo using that set I always sell one. I sold one set to bride for her wedding cards as well as I demo magic snowflake with it and they all go crazy. I have sold many. I think this is the best one. But I will have both in no time.

I don't own either (but agree that snowflakes are a great item to have) - if I had to choose one, though, I would go with Snowflakes.

Snowflakes, even though I own Snowflake Spot. I think Snowflakes is much more elegant.

At first I loved Snoflakes, but after having used both stamp sets, I much prefer the look of Snowflake Spot and would have to pick that one.

I have both, and really thought that I would like Snowflake Spot better, but I still prefer the older Snowflakes set.

If you can't decide on style, which sentiment are you more likely to use?

I have both snowflake sets that are mentioned and use both!!! I admit that I've used the spot set more this year because it's new...and it makes the most delicate, feminine cards. I've had lots of winter birthdays to do cards for and have used the spot set with the cotton candy multiple ink pad - gorgeous!!!

So my advice would be to buy one set, see how much you use it and save up money to buy the other set next season.
