One of my demos sent us the download version of the new mini! Arggh. I was so hoping for a Christmas set that would be great this year. Oh, well. That is how it goes. Ribbon organizer is cool though. Have the rest of you seen it yet? Ask your demo as they can e-mail it to you.
OK, this is weird. When I try to email it to friends it won't go on the next e-mail, just is blank with a blue number remaining. Anyone have a link to it?
Not me! I love it! It's the first mini in a while that I have absolutely LOVED!!! I'm in so much trouble!

I found lots of sets that I like! I do not expect every set to grab me-that would be CARAZY on my budget, LOL. But there were quite a few that I said "Oh Yeah!." Just one ore thing about SU that I love-there is generally something for everyone.

For those asking me to e-mail, I would love to do that. As soon as I press "forward" I get a blank page with a blue number/letter code on the page. If I figure it out I will let you know on this thread and will be glad to send it on!
There are a couple that I really like and two things that are a "must have". I agree with Britta, there is something for everyone!

Not the best mini IMHO, but there are a couple of "Must Haves" for me I must have ALL the Halloween stuff, the Holiday Thyme paper, & Snow Flurries. I'll prolly get "A Merry Little Christmas" too.
I like a lot of the sets, but there isnt much that I have to have. I definitely want the ribbon and the papers. I will probably buy the Snow Flurries stamps.

Holy moly Annabelle!! Its a miracle. You and I *agree* on something! LOL! I'm not loving this mini either. I was really disappointed with it.
I'm not totally lovin this mini - but I still want a fair bit from it! I *love* the new papers and ribbon and chipboard albums!!! And the snowflake set is adorable!! There's a couple of other must have sets fro me too. And I'll prolly end up getting more once I start seeing samples on here!
I think the hard copies that we pay to have SU! send directly to our customers are supposed to arrive sometime near the end of August. Customers can start placing orders on September 1st, as the Summer Mini will be valid till August 31st.

I'm totally disappointed with the holiday mini too ... I was hoping to find a few Christmas sets that I really loved ... but nope ... the one set with the words is the only set I like. Disappointment!
Snow flurries set is cute, I also thought the Christmas ornament set would be nice for scrapbooking. Ohhh, and the Halloween sets are a hoot, at least to me!!!! The ribbon look great and the papers!!
I'm actually kind of relieved that my wish list for this mini is relatively small (only about $80-$90), because after all the stuff I saw in the big book that I wanted I was getting worried that my checking account couldn't handle it! ;)

Thanks so much for posting that link. overall I liked the mini. I am very excited about the beautiful paper. The chipboard (?) mini album and ATC album look awesome. Some stamps I will deffinatly have to have. (the Halloween set, the sassy christmas one (with the poodle...lol), and lots more)
Thanks so much for the link! I like it over all. I think it does have some cute sets. I definitely think it is better than the current summer one. I did not like that one at all!

I liked enough that I have to re-think my September budget (i.e. "What do you want for your birthday, Shelby?" "STAMPING STUFF ONLY, PLEASE!!")!
I really like the poodle set. Only problem is, if I sent someone a card saying "Celebrate in Style", they wouldn't know it's from me -- I'm not exactly a stylish person...

All I am saying is that, Jaxma, I can't believe that you posted that and no one is freaking out (and I am glad for you cause it HURTS when they do!).
I still haven't gotten forgiveness (hmmmm...from some of the posters in this very thread) for posting the mini that I posted that everyone said was against SU! policy to post to the public before the date that it came available to the public, blah, blah, blah...I am literally falling out of my seat but I am also glad that we are all getting along so much better:-D ...that's all I'm sayin'
Oh and I do love the X-mas sets in the Winter Mini better than any of the X-mas sets in the catty!
I love the holiday paper,perfect ending and jolly holiday set is cute,quick cards and ribbon possibly.but I think I might be buying the first 3 items I listed.Other than that I didn't care for much of anyting else.

It's someone who buys stamps they didn't normally like at first,only to see it in Split Coast Stampers gallery in a different perspective.
Well, after veiwing the Mini this AM, there is not really anything in it I have to *have*. I might get some paper, but that even is not my thing! The big catalog left me feeling a bit empty compared to other years too!
Just my 2 cents worth.

I'm always surprised to see a title like this - I mean really there are so many stamp companies. If you don't like the Christmas set in the mini look at some of the other companies.

jpmayo, I almost pm'd you privately to ask if you had a link to the holiday mini. I didn't want to ask you to post on the boards after what happened last time! I'm thrilled jaxma posted the link!
I really don't like much of anything out of this holiday mini. The ribbon storage and ribbons is about all I think I will be looking at purchasing. I have heard rumor that the CTMH catty that is coming up is a good one. So lets all have positive thoughts that some great holiday sets will be in there!
I've had people freak out on me before (for daring to say that I didn't like that the catalog cost $10) so I'm used to it

Sorry you girls got flack in the past, and may still get flack for this. I don't know what the big deal is. I think posting the links justs generates more interest. People seem to get their panties in a wad over almost anything these days.
I haven't looked at the mini yet... but I can say this: I won't say whether I like it or not, because almost ALL the time, I have to eat my words. Sets that don't appeal to me at first become my favorites after seeing a single card posted by one of our own SCS power stampers [you know who you are!].
So, I usually withhold my judgement until after I've seen the great color combinations, or the 'use this stamp a different way' card.
So disappointed in upcoming holiday mini!
