I am curious as to what you all at your workshops to display your cards?
My husband made me a stand that is basically a two wooden frames with chicken wire in the middle to clip cards on to. They are hinged together with a handle to carry into my workshops. The wood frame has enough space around it to stamp on. He "borrowed" one of my stamps and stamped on it, then he used his sander drill and traced the image.
I LOVE it!! It was a surprise for me a few years ago.
But have found that the hostess may not always have room for it.
So let's hear it!! What do you use???
I'm cheap. That said, I'd rather not carry one around at all and just use cello bagged set samplers, but my customers LOVE seeing a display board--makes 'em feel like they ALL can view at the same time and it has some sort of WOW effect to see them all clustered together like that???
So I keep the thing. It's one of those science project display boards you buy at the craft store or office supply store. Nothing fancy, not painted or decorated in any way.
I put velcro buttons on it and on my samples, which are in cello envelopes. Protects 'em from the elements (rainy sometimes here in the PNW--gee ya' think?1) and enables me to swap out each month to put up new designs from swaps, etc. Also enables people to remove the sample from the board, and from the envelope, then return it, reseal it, and reattach it back to the board.
Works for me .... so far, that is!

I put most of my samples into a basket for the guests to look through, it's always a hit. I just developed a Hostess board to showcase cards that can be made at upcoming workshops and for that I used one of the foldable 'science fair' type cardboard displays. It seems to be a hit so far...
I plan to put my samples in a binder using these pages protectors. Then if I want to highlight some of them or showcase a set or something like that, then I can take them out temporarily and then put them back in the binder.
I am going to use the photo holders with the clips on the ends. They are for photos, but the three pronged ones will hold three cards nicely that people can take out and look at. I bought a few to put around all over her room.
I put my cards on a white lattice my husband cut into thirds for me and added hinges. I got this idea from my upline and it works great. I hang it on the wall at my house when I am not at a party, and take it down and fold it up to take to a party. I fasten the cards to it with velcro and clear envelopes and switch it around when I need to. I think it was like 12 dollars to make. And you dont have to make it very big if its too awkward. Its easy to cut it down to the sizes you want!
I found a French message board room divider at Kohls for half price. It's a light sage green so doesn't distract from the cards I tuck under the ribbons. It also matches my room decor in my stamping room and is easy to transport to demos.

I use a black 3-sided display board like you use for school projects with velcro tabs.
I also have the Show on the Go. I put my scrapbook pages on that.
I only use set samplers if I have one made and I'm demoing that set at the workshop.
I put together set samplers from my convention swaps. I found that I got a LOT of some sets so I made a sampler.
I also make samplers for sets in the mini-catalogs. I make full cards so that I can use them when the set is gone.

Wow! all of your ideas are wonderful! I love the whole velcro thing.
Right now I am using little color clothes pins. Those little boogers break on me all the time!
With the velcro I can change it all out very easily (with out frustration!)

My demo only uses her display board for a big workshop.
Right now we have a stampers club going where we meet once a month, so all of us have at least a bit of stamping experience. So she encourages us to bring our own cards to display and then raffles off a little price amongst everyone who brought some cards. That way we can see each other styles and techniques which is pretty neat.
So what do you use??
