I was just thinking 'bout how much I love SCS and the weekly challenges and how I MUST check the challenges each day;), whether I have time to play or not. So which is your favorite and why?
I love 'em all but I do have to say that the sketch challenges really do stretch me to try something new. I get in a format rut sometimes!
I didn't post this as a poll bc I'm not looking for a contest, just tell what inspires you!!!!
I have three favorites: the color challenge, the sketch challenge and the newest-- the featured stamper challenge. It is exciting to see who each stamper is for the week and gives me something to look forward to seeing. There are so many exceptional artists on this website and it's good to see that some of the overlooked are being noticed!

I haven't had the chance to do any challenges for a long while. But I love them all! I don't think I could choose!

I try to do the Mon-Fri challenge and MyTime's sketch challenge. I love the sketch challenge and color challenge the best, but Limited Supply had a 3-2-1 challenge that STRETCHED me and I even LIKED the card when I was done. That was my all time fav! I just particpated in VSN and did 3 challenges (I have 6 kids so I am a bit time challenged) and I love two of the cards I made.
I think I am really growing as a stamper because of the challenges!!

I look at each challenge every morning! I don't have time everyday to DO them. But, I try to make lots of time for my fav which is the Featured Stamper. A very second close is the Sketch Challenge. I have been stamping for 6 months, and these sketches are SO helpful for me to get started on a card. I am not at the place where I can start with a blank piece of paper and some stamps! Maybe someday I will grow up and create like the lovely ladies I see here everyday!! Hugs,
My favorite is the color challenge. The color challenge really stretches my artistic limits. About 90% of the time, I think to myself "They want me to make a card with those colors together? Are they crazy?". But then I work on it and love the end result.
In general I do the sketch, color and inspiration. The sketch challenge really helps broaden my horizons. I don't allow myself to look at anyone's creaions until I post mine. I really try to comment on as many as I can after I post. Tomorrow is catch up day with a few challenges. In my mind I'd love to start from the beginning for each of these, but I know that's not happening any time soon.

The sketch challenge is probably my favorite challenge. There are only so many ways to put images on a card, and I tend to use the same formula time after time, so the sketches are good for me! All the challenges are fun and they all stretch my creativity. The color combination encourages me to use colors I am not normally drawn to. The technique challenge makes me try new things. The ways to use it and the limited supplies challenge are like doing puzzles. The inspiration challenge often produces ugly cards (my attempts, not others'!) but it pushes me out of my comfort zone. And the featured stamper challenge gives me an excuse to copy a card, but change it to work with what I have, and to add my own touch to it.
All the challenges are addictive, by the way.

My 2 favorite that I do every week are the color combo and the sketch challenge. I like them because they make me think outside the box and I love to see different ways to make cards.

i forgot to mention that i am interested in the color challenges but am still collecting the ink & CS. seems when i look at the challenges i am missing one color here and one there... but i am getting there.
i love the sketch challenges because they can be used for any stamp set, theme, color combo... you start to say oh yea, i did that challenge when you are in the gallery!
The sketch challenge always gets me going to be really creative. It's funny how a few parameters make me feel freer to create than none at all. My other favorites are the featured stamper and ways to use it. I do whatever other ones speak to me as well, so it's all good.

I'm very new to the challenges myself. (Only done three I think) but so far I love the sketch challenge. I am always trying to come up with a good layout and that helps. I would probably do the color challenge too, but I also don't have that much CS and Ink yet so I don't usually have the colors.
I love the color & the sketch ~~ I guess those are my "problem areas". But I've done all of them at least once. The one technique challenge I did was frayed ribbon, & I now use that a lot!! I do like the FS challenge, but I've only had time to do one or two. I'm so glad there are no time limits on these challenges, lol!!!
What I really like to do it combine the sketch, color, and featured stamper challenge to really get my brain working (or not!) It helps me to have something concrete to look at when I create and the color and sketch challenges help me out with that!

(okay, I know I made up that word...but it fits so nice in the song lyrics...teehee!)
I really like the sketch challenges. I seem to have a hard time coming up with a layout on my own, but if I look at the challenge and put something together, I am happy with the result 99% of the time. Wish there was a daily sketch challenge!
I love the sketch challenges as they are so useful to go back to time and again. I have also taken part in the Saturday inspiration challenges a couple of times which was great fun. I've also tried the limited supplies challenge.
The one I definitely don't participate in is the colour challenge as I don't have the SU! CS and inks - but I hope to remedy that when SU! start selling in the UK! I'm really looking forward to taking part in the colour challenges then - but not to how much money I'll have to spend LOL!
I rarely check the challenges- but when I do it's always sketch challenge.
I never did color challenges before because I didn't have many colors- now I have all the spots and all the colors of paper I might have to try them. Sketch challenge is so much more concrete though. I like that.

I do all the challenges but I think my favorites are the sketch and color challenges, but I also love the featured stamper and the way to use it, followed by inspiration (the hardest for me), TLC and limited supplies ( another tough one for me!

I love the sketch challenge....it is so fun! Next, I love the Featured Stamper challenge because in that challenge it is okay to case a card (welcomed...in fact!) and thirdly...I love the Inspiration challenge because it is so fun to just go in with nothing but a picture of something and see what everyone comes out with on the other side...
I love them all because they all find different way to challenge you as a stamper. My personal favs are the sketch challenge and the inspiration challenge--but I truly love all of them and appreciate the hostesses who come up with such great ideas every week.
It's funny how a few parameters make me feel freer to create than none at all.
That's it!!! The thing I love the most is that having a "challenge" provides those "parameters" I seem to need so I don't just sit and stare at my supplies!
It's amazing how knowing what technique I'm going for or what supplies I'm using can quell my ADD! (I have no H in ADHD....but I'd gladly pay for it!)
I love the Monday to Friday challenges, I try to do at least 3 out of 5 a week. But my new favorite is Jen's Limited Supply Challenge, I love it since she has gone back to giving a specific list of stuff we can use. It has caused me to be creative in different ways and mix and match stamps that I never would have thought of before, so thank you Jen!
It is hard to choose - I like to try as many as possible. I find it harder to participate in the Technique and Ways to Use it, since I don't always have the materials. I often substitute colors for the color challenge if I don't have the right ones - so far, no challenge police have shown up on my doorstep! The sketch challenge is probably the most helpful to me, as I often refer to the chart of all sketch challenges to get ideas of how to use a stamp of a specific shape. Challenge hostesses - if you are reading, I hope you can see how much your ideas are appreciated. Keep them coming!
My favorite is the sketch challenge. I forget to do them a lot of times, but I absolutely love them! I have them all printed out and stapled together. I have also been getting into the color challenges lately. I really enjoy making a card with colors I wouldn't normally use together. The challenges really make me step out of my comfort zone a little bit, but I think my cards have been improving because of it.
Probably the sketch challenge and the colors. I have learned alot by trying the new techniques, but I am not good with limited supplies.
My fav by far are VSN. I have only gotten to do the last 2 and have learned some wonderful techniques from both. I had to work for the one in Feb and this week was terribly busy-but I picked some to try and now I love Batik. After Feb it was emboss resist. I think the time constraint is good to force you to come up with something good or bad and learn and improve next time.
