Okay, I've been getting some great comments on my cards lately! I gotta admit it though.....I freak out every timeEmilymomto3boys gives me a comment!!!! ;) 'cause I love her cards, and she is such a fun personality on here!! I've even > gotten comments from Michelle Laycock and Jacksonbelle of the DD!
So, who do YOU get excited over posting on your cards?
I get excited when anyone posts! It really boosts my self esteem and I look forward to seeing who posts and what they say!
I'm totally with you! I get so excited when ANYONE makes a comment on my cards! It's such a thrill that anyone would take the time to say something nice about a card that I have created! I find it funny though....usually I get more comments on the cards that aren't my favourites and almost no comments on the ones I love!! Go figure!:confused:
I love all comments/compliments in my gallery...Just being validated is AWESOME...
But I must admit to getting very excited when I see that my SCS GF's have complimented me...And when I see a DD gal mixed in with the compliments...I am totally flattered...
ALL COMMENTS/COMPLIMENTS are GOOD in my WORLD!!!
Make sure you don't forget to leave them to your friends or just random comments...It is better to give than to receive...so, they say! ;)

I agree with both of you! ANYONE who takes the time to make a comment makes my day! I would, however, be totally FLOORED if Beate were to comment! And, Beate, please DON'T just to be polite! I'm NOT worthy!

Well, the more comments the merrier! I live for validation :rolleyes: ! I do love it when jacksonbelle or any of the other dirty dozen post. I also love it when someone says why they like it...makes my day.

OK I'm not shy! I love getting comments from Jeanne S., emilymomto3boys, Mamakimberly, any of the DD, Jami, heart, Beate, of course there are tons more LOL.
I agree, while "nice card" and "pretty colors" are great comments to get, I really like to hear WHY someone likes what I made. Or that because of something I did, it makes someone want to buy that set.
Her Royal Rubberness comes to mind, but really, I am pleased when anyone notices my cards. I did get a couple of the DD comments once on a card, it was really nice. Beate liked one I made once and that was great. I think it would make anyone feel good to have someone else comment on something they made no matter who it is. Its nice to be noticed.
Anyone! (along with the "why")
But probably princessink or carole richardson would blow me away...I see my "style" changing and evolving as time goes on and it is partly due to these two awesome artists!

I agree!! I always try to post comments on cards that don't have any, or only have a couple! It sucks when you spend all this time on a card which you think is awesome, only to post it and get no love!
I ain't picky! I really like the ones from people that personally "know" me nice to know a friend can take time to write something to make my day or that are very specific about what they liked... Don't get me wrong I am happy to recieve a comment that says "cute" but I prefer when they are persoanlized like for the actul item saying what they liked about it or if they plan to make one!
I agree - I like the comments that took some thought - don't get me wrong, I am at fault with saying generic comments, but I am really trying to change and say why I like something. I am in awe of everyone's work!

Aww, you guys are too silly to say me! I try to go to the gallery and comment as often as I can, but I know I always miss cute stuff. I love each and every comment, and I seriously mean that....I read them all and am thrilled by all of them. I suppose it's cool to have someone else you admire comment on your cards....I really admire Shel9999's work and I love it when she likes something of mine.
The other day Carole Richardson commented on one and I was floored....the woman has GORGEOUS creations with like 90 comments in her gallery and she liked one of mine!
I love comments from anyone - lots of comments! LOL I do like the specific ones too. Of course the DD girls and SCS team comments really make my day. I got a SHUT UP!!!!!!!! from Julie HRR on one and it made my week - even made my dh come in and see that one! :cool:
I love getting any comments but feel so special when it is someone from the DD, any moderator or those gals who has a zillion posts (you know who you are). I'm very guilty of leaving the generic comment, but I see now I should try to work on that.
I do try to go see what is new at least once per day. There are so many talented people here.

I appreciate the "views" as much as the comments, but you are right on, there....when someone goes out of their way to comment on the type of embelishments/techniue etc, that makes me happy.
That being said, I would really love to see a thread where we could go all out for brutal honesty once in a while, like , "post a card and everyone will tell you what they would have done" or something. Still trying to decide if that is just opening up a big can -o- worms, so I haven't done it yet.
ANd since I totally hijacked this thread( SORRY!!!) I love when anyone comments on anything I do, but if my demo pops in and does it( not often) it makes me smile.

Holy COW! I just went to read my comments again, and not only did Jen post TWO comments in my gallery, but JEANNE S AND EMILYMOMTO3BOYS BOTH posted in my gallery even before I "knew who they were" as far as talent goes! I guess I need to change my siggy again to MAYBE I AM WORTHY!!!!!
