Do the demonstrators have to order the mini's for us every time or once we are in the system, that is that? Because my demos baby is in the hospital, just went and saw them tonight, he has phnemonia (sp), and stopped breathing once this morning cause he couldn't cough out a mucus plug. She is so stressed no way am I going to bother her about the mini. If she has to do something everytime to get it sent out to her customers how long ago would she have had to take care of that? The baby has only been in the hospital since yesterday morning so I would assume she took care of the catalogs and I will just have to wait. Tonight when I saw the baby he was looking good, so hopefully he will only be in for one more day, he was alert, wiggly and had good color, poor little feller.

The selector period for the Spring Mini ended on January 27th, and SU! started mailing them to customers on February 15th. Because they are not free, we usually have to go into the system each quarter and do the selections.
Glad your demo's little one is doing better. Hope he's home soon!

Mine came today, 24th. I'm in So. Cal. I knew several of my local friends don't always get theirs. We came up witht the conclusion that their mail carriers are stampers.
Vancouver, got mine about 3 days ago. But my demonstrator had already shared her's, so it wasn't a huge deal.
I'm not totally in love with Travel Sketchbook, but I've been pestering SU! for years to do some Italian-themed stamps (would have loved a "grazie" in the set!!), so I feel obligated to purchase.

I received my copy about 10 days ago. I live in Tampa, Florida. I know that you mean about the different personalties. I didn't like the Winter mini at all, I was very disappointed, but I love this one. I want every stamp set, with the exception of two. I wish we could order them earlier though.
I got mine last night, im so excited  my poor demonstrator i told her i was going to hold her party lite stuff hostage until i got my mini, at least she has a good sence of humor, lol
Well I have been away since Saturday morning. DH and a friend are remodeling our kitchen and it is a disaster zone, so I figured it would just be eaiser to remove our little boys from the house for most of the weekend, so took them to my mom's. I have just arrived back and the house is a disaster and the two guys are missing in action. So I am off to search the house for yesterdays mail with my fingers anxiously crossed!
Update on my demos baby, he is still in the hospital, RSV, phnemonia, and a heart problem. Hoping he makes a speedy turn soon for the better.
Mine came on Tuesday as well! Sorry about your luck, my friend! I know how you feel, I never receieved a Winter or a SAB catalog! Finally had to call & have my sweet demo friend send me one!
Sorry to hijack....got a question...Those of you who have gotten yours, do you notice how much more enticing things look when the catalog is in your little pattie-hands vs looking at them online? When I saw the SAB catalog online, I didn't want a single thing....once I saw the catalog, I had to have every single one of them! UGH! Maybe my hubby confiscated those first catalogs.....hmmmm....didn't work! hee hee

I totally agree with this. There's nothing better than having it in your hands, carrying it around, flipping back and forth, taking it to bed instead of reading a book. I just hope they don't decide to go completely online, and not print them anymore!
I just got mine last week, but my friend who lives about 3 miles away got hers 2 weeks before I did. Same demonstrator. Hmmmm....
I hope that little baby is doing better soon. My youngest was hospitalized at 1 year old with pneumonia and reactive airway disease (later diagnosed as asthma). There is almost nothing worse than having a child in the hospital.
The heart problem does not sound good. Sounds like time to make some cards and offer some help. I remember there was an unbelieveable schedule of medications when she came home from the hospital. Some every 3 hours, some every 4, around the clock, without fail. Your demo might appreciate a meal delivered to the house when they get home so she can catch an hour's sleep!
My mini came in Thursday's mail, and it was so fun to sit and go through it slowly....drinking in the new stamps and items offered! I adore the double-sided new papers......ever so pretty!
Yes, obviosly my demo is more than a demo, she and her DH are dear friends first. I had my DH go up to the hospital yesterday to give support, we have offered for them use our house as a resting point at anytime, as we live 2 minutes from the hospital and they are about 25 minutes away. I have a Wish Bear Care Bear to take to the baby tommorrow and I need to make just the right card for mom. All I have been able to do is think about him all weekend poor little guy.
My demo is residing in another country right now. I'll email her and see if she'll put me on a mailing list for the mini catalogs.
Thanks, Denise
Even if you don't get a "hard" copy, remember starting on March 1st you will be able to view the entire mini online at SU's website.
It's funny how different folks like different styles. A few of you said you were disappointed but I honestly think this is the best mini I've seen since I started stamping 3 years ago!! My wish list is 3/4 of the mini!

Well here we are Monday and I anxiously await the mail. My mail lady is often very late through here, close to 6 a lot of days so it is going to be a long day.
Luckily it should be somewhat of a busy day, volunteer in the school library 2 -3:45, whisk my kindergarten to cathecism (sp) by 4:30, stop at an elderly neighbors house to drop off some pampered chef stuff, make a tip up to the hospital to visit friends and baby (demo). And they hopefully I can curl up some place comfortable to sounds of the guys pounding a sawing on my kitchen and gaze at my mini catty.
On top of waiting for my spring mini I might get the order from my stamp party today too! But at last the UPS guy comes through here late too, not usually until 6. Such torchure! In the stamp order I have $100 of merchandise I paid for plus $60 in freebies, hostess sets and SAB sets. I should just put myself out of my misery now and take a sleeping pill and sleep the day away in hopes that all of this arrives by the time I wake up!
Hmmmmm maybe I should have my Mary Kay lady bring me something new when I meet her at the kids library!
I have however solved the mystery, my demo did miss ordering them for her customers, the baby is only 8 weeks old, so she is adjusting to motherhood, she is going to get one to me soon, though. Since the little guy is still in the hospital it doesn't really matter I can wait.
