Default Square cards postage?

Hi all,
I know I've seen this discussed here before, but does anyone know how much postage is for a square card? (Mine is just under 6X6inches).
TIA.
Lisa

I believe it is an extra 12 cents. You can get rates at www.usps.com.

The minimum size for a square envelope is 5 x 5 inches.
Square letters weighing 1 ounce or less are subject to a $0.12 nonmachinable surcharge. - Per usps web site

This is from the usps.com web site.

"Surcharge for square or unusually shaped letters that weigh 1 oz or less: $0.12.
Tip: One ounce is approximately equal to four sheets of paper plus a standard envelope."

Lynn:
You may want to question your PO if you feel they are charging you more than they should. There are information booklets available for consumers.
