Default Squash/Accordian Book using 12x12?

I've searched and searched looking for an "easy" handout to make these books using 12x12 paper without coasters!

It's our scrapbook club party tomorrow and I'd like to have these set up as kits for my girls (grades 4-7) to make. I'd need an "easy" handout and I'd like to use cereal type box cardboard instead of coasters.

Anyone have such instructions? Or have I been dreaming again?

TIA!

Here's instructions with 9x9 paper, but you could always alter the measurements. I make mine with 8.5 inch squares for the inside, and 4.5 inch squares for the outside cover. That way I can cover the covers with a 6x6 square cut from 12x12 decorator paper.

Ok. let me see if I can explain. I am not too good at explaining. I do much better at showing but I do not have any pictures on this. I just got done making 4 of the 12x12 ones. The covers I used cardboard that I cut to a 6 1/4 square. I also did one that was a 6 1/2 square. I cut the paper to cover it at 9 inches for the 6 1/4 and 9 1/2 for the 6 1/2. then you fold the cardstock for the pages just like you would with the smaller ones and attach the same way. the for the squares and triangles I cut the paper a 5 1/2 sqaures. I hope this helps.

I like Sara's instructions... ditto to what she says... I use the Chipboard that comes with our Designer paper and just cut the 12x12 down by 1/4 inch on each side to fit it in the 6x6 squares of Chipboard. Good luck, I've been wanting to make this size for a long time....somehow the little ones are just too little for me.
