Default Stamp/Scrapbooking stores in Indianapolis,IN?

Hey everyone,
I'm going to the Heirloom Stamp Convention at the Fair Grounds in Indianapolis, IN in March and was wondering if anyone can tell me of any scrapbooking/Rubber stamp stores in that area?
Please help!

I just got back from a scrapbooking weekend in Indy. They have 2 Archivers stores there.

Sadly, we do not have any stamp/scrap stores other than your Archivers, Hobby Lobby, Michael's and JoAnn's. However, an hour south of us is the town of Nashville, and they have two stamp stores. Papertrix is my fave! Nashville is a fun little town, and it's worth the drive just for the stamp store!

I agree about Papertrix, I love going to that store! I think last year, I managed to make it there about five or six times.

Greenwood has a newer store on South Madison - across the street from Greenwood Elementary school called Sharon's Crop Studio.

They are getting some new Stampavie stamps this week and also have fabric from Basic Grey - just a few things I haven't seen in the usual Joann's, HL or Mike's.

I'm really looking forward to the stamp convention!!

Hmmm...now I'm curious. Is it worth it to go out to the convention? Are tix still available? What's it all about? Thanks for any help!

http://www.heirloompro.com/

Here's the website with the info and dates. As of the time I posted this you could not click on the Indianapolis event - but keep checking back! Eventually you will be able to click on it and see a list of participating vendors - just keep in mind they always have more at the actual event than what is shown on the site. Yes - it's totally worth it! Tickets are still available. I know if you call the store I mentioned that is in Greenwood they will hold a ticket for you - they will also be at the convention selling things.

There's a great scrapbook store in Mooresville that usually sells the tickets too and if I'm not mistaken you can purchase them at the door the day of the event as well.

Papertrix closes for January and February. Last year they were signed up to be at the Heirloom Show but did not go. Call Papertrix ahead of time to see if they are open. They are always closed on Tuesdays.

Heirloom changes from year to year and you never know what you'll find. I thought last year it was not very enticing, but I'll be going back this year anyway. There is another store in Nashville, IN but it pales in comparison to Papertrix.

I like the store in Mooresville, it may be called A Little But Moore, or something similar.

Bumping this thread. I'm moving to Indy in July and am wondering whether there are any new stores worth checking out.

I'm also interested in whether anyone in the Indianapolis area does a big craft sale that I could participate in (for stamps I'm ready to pass along to a new home; not for finished products).

I'd also be interested in hearing how people price stamps at sales like this...

Well, drat. Would have loved to meet you, but I'm moving from Indy the first week of June and heading to Pittsburgh. There used to be a local store that had a big swap sale (in Noblesville at the Hamilton County 4H fairgrounds, I think), but that store closed its doors a few years back.

There are a few stores in Nashville, Indiana that were already mentioned in this post. Other than that, we have a few Archivers stores here in Indy (which sadly, I will not have in Pittsburgh!).

Good luck in Indy! Hope you like it here!
