Is it worth going...I have never been to a Stamp Convention before. Do you usually get good deals or just see new items?
I would go--I bet you'll get to do make and takes. Maybe some of the vendors will give out free stuff. I think seeing all the new stuff would make it worth it too.
Do you suppose my family would notice if I disappeared for a few hours and met you there? Maybe in a year or so I'll be able to go. Let us know how it was.
Lost Coast will have copic markers . Linda sold me my sets.
Stamp Zia will have a good demo and lucious samples.
Stamp in the Hand should have a good demo.
Hold on to your pocketbook when you look at Paula Best
And Stamp Camp is my favorite favorite.
Tell Mary Kay Betsy says hi (yes she will recognize the name... )
Have fun fun fun! And come back and tell us what you got!
DO NOT HESITATE!!!!!!! Those sound like great companies~!!! Even though I am on a self-imposed no spending time-out, if this was in my hometown...I would be there!!!
Also, have you heard of Mystic Paper in Mesa, AZ??? I saw them online and they look like an awesome store!!!
Report back to us so we can live vicariously through you today!!!
If you've never been before.....just a few pointers.....TAKE YOUR CAMERA, but ask before you take pictures, WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES (this is a must!) and have fun. As others have said, the make n takes are always good as are the booth demos! If I were closer, I'd love to go to this one. It's one I haven't been to before. And, I've been to conventions in Orlando, FL, Las Vegas, Spokane, Del Mar, CA, Carson, CA and a few other places I can't remember. I always spend more than I say I am going to. If you are looking for something in particular, look at all the booths, then go back to the one with the best price! This is the voice of experience talking. Even at a convention, vendors have different prices for the same item! HAVE FUN!!! And, do report back....I'd love to attend this convention in the future!
I think one of my up-lines and sidelines were going this weekend to represent Stampin' Up! They demo at the Glendale Convention but not sure about the Mesa one. I wish I could go, but I have too much going on here! :( Joy had a good point bring a large bag to put all your new goodies in! Oh yeah and have fun!
