Default Stamp Stores or Craft Stores in Wilmington NC ....

Hey Wilmington NC stampers ... any stamp stores or craft stores (other than Mike's or Jo's) in your area? I will be in Wilmington for Thanksgiving weekend and while hubby and his son go off and do "guy" things (like sit in a bar and watch college football) I wanted to check out some places. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks.

I know a few years ago there was a scrapbook store in Wilmington.... BUT if you are willing to drive, there's a nice store in New Bern (2hrs straight up Hwy 17) and another in Greenville (ANOTHER hour from there up Hwy 43). And I THINK there's one in Jacksonville (1.5 hrs up Hwy 17). AND there is one or 2 in Raleigh (about 2 hrs up I-40), along with an Archiver's.

Thanks. If hubby and his son do "guy stuff", I may just jump in the car and go!!! Last year I was at the "Scrapbook Nook" which is very close to our hotel. It's OK, but not a ton for stampers ... mostly scrapbooking. I may hit there again!

The Scrapbook Nook has recently expanded and has a stamping section. I am about an hour away and stop by about once a month. They have a stamp of the month, Great Impressions I think. Rose and Tammy are both great.

Default Dogwood Crafts

There's another store just a bit south of downtown Wilmington in Leland, NC called Dogwood Crafts. Not a ton of stamping stuff, but a fun store to poke around in! I try to stop there on my way to the southern NC beaches. (Tried to post a link, but can't. It's triple-W dot dogwoodcrafts dot com.)

Woooo hoooo!!!! I am really looking forward to the trip now! I like to give hubby and his son time to do guy things, so while they're in a bar watching football, I'm gonna be at the Scrapbook Nook!!! Thanks for letting me know. I may not have gone back this year if I didn't know this!
