Xyron works great too for solid areas of glitter application. I have never bought a machine in any size. I just buy the refills, take the role of adhesive off the frame that it comes on and when I need general all over adhesive I unroll what I need, press the thing I am adhering to the adhesive and peel it off. It works great and I don't waste any adhesive!

also with CE, you can mix it with the DD, then use a small paintbrush or a toothpick to the design, "painting" it on, or putting it just where it needs to be!!
I didn't even realize you could do this with the refill sheets. I'll be saving any significant scraps from now on! Thanks for the tip!
This only works if you use just the adhesive roll with nothing else. Once you run it through the machine and the clear top layer touches the adhesive, the adhesive is useless. (Unless of course someone has come up with a wonderful creative way to use the top sheet.) Hope this helps.

Am I a total fool, but what is heat and stick powder?
SU sells it. Stamp your image with dye ink then apply Versamark (pad or pen) to the entire image (I use my stamp-a-magig to stamp by versamark image over my original) or just use then pen on the area you want glitter. Sprinkle on the heat and stick. Heat very briefly (it becomes sticky) then apply the glitter.
Hope that makes sense. Maybe someone can explain it better. I think I made it sound more complicated than it is. :?

I use my dazzling diamonds TONS...I love my Mono 2-Way Glue Pen and my Heat-n-Stick powder. I fell like every stamper should have the glitter as a staple of their supplies.

The Craft inks work well alone with the Heat and Stick powder, but it has to be wet. Make sure that your Craft pad is very moist.
I like to use glue if I am doing a mass amount of cards. Heat and Stick for my scrapbooks because after time the glue seems to turn a little yellow. The heat and stick seems to stay true clear.
Why do you need to stamp with craft ink and then versamark. Does the craft ink not hold the heat & stick like it does embossing powder?

I use the dye (Classic) ink then the versamark because the only craft color I have is the white. You can eliminate the versamark step when using the craft ink.
