Default stampin' spots ONLY and background stamp?

Can you ink a backgroup stamp with a stampin' spot? These stamps are just so BIG and the spots are so small,,,but all I have are spots right now, only 2 reg size pads (black and mellow moss, oh and I have the versamark)...I really want the canvas stamp but wont get it if it doesnt work well being inked with a spot...any advice??

Sure you can.

You just lay your stamp face up on the table and run the spot over it.

It'll take a bit longer, but works fine!

Go for the canvas stamp. You won't regret it!

I just got a couple of background sets and only have stampin spots too. I don't think it will be a problem. It will probably just take a few more minutes to ink up the back.

It may take more time and you may have to "huff" on it when you finish. Sometimes the ink dries fast so you have to remoisten it. Good luck!!

It will work fine! Believe it or not last night I used my French Script backround stamp and used a marker! I don't have a brown stamp pad or spot so I used a marker!! It worked!
