Default Stampin Up Stamp Storage

Hello,

My DH and I have bought our first house and are moving in on Friday. I am looking for storage solutions for my new craft room.

I store my SU! stamps in their original containers on shelves in my craft room. They are stacked on top of each other. It works well for me.

I also store mine in their containers on shelves. But, I think it would really depend on how many you have and if you have stamps other than SU. The shelves that I used are the ones that have the long brackets on the wall with the holes going from top to bottom. This allows me to add more shelves when I need them without having to put more holes in the wall. Or, like I've had to do twice already, I can move the shelves closer to one another to make more room.

To help make finding a set easier, I bought a label maker so that I can label each set. The labels are black print on white tape so it makes reading the names so much easier than the clear background labels that come with the sets. Does that make sense? Probably not! LOL

I bought bathroom cabinets from Ikea (called Vattern) because they fit the SU stamps perfectly. I leave them in their stamp cases. CD's also fit, so the cabinets are an all-purpose purchase!

I keep my SU! stamps in their cases and right now I have them in a drawer system from IKEA, but I'm starting to bust out. They're wire baskets, so I can see what's on the bottom, but it's getting annoying to dig when I want something on the bottom. I think I'd like to get some shelves and store them on their sides, with the label showing out.

I also store mine in their original clamshell box one on top of the other. I have two sets of shelves floor to near ceiling on one side filled with sets. I have way a lot of stamps..lol Then there are the Michales stamps, TAC sets and various others...yikes.
Blessings.

I have my sets stored in the clamshells that they come in and in a 6 foot cabinet with doors that DH made me. My nonstampin up stamps are either in binders (acrylic stamps) and the misc wood mounted stamps are in the turquise boxes that SU was selling a little while ago. Congratulations on the new home, have fun making it your own place.

I have 3 floor to ceiling bookcases w/su stamps in their cases and another bookcase that I store other companies stamps - also stored in su clamshells.

I also love a clear over the door shoeholder for punches.

I keep all my SU sets in their clamshell cases and have the the sticker that came with them on one end and write in black permanet marker the name of the set on the other end. I have them stacked on a book case so they are easy to get too.
