I lost my embossing tool once and i was devastated. Such a simple tool but i swear i use it every time i make something. It not only embosses with brass stencils (which i have NEVER used it for), but it scores things, pokes out little die cut holes that didn't fall out on their own, holds things down while i heat emboss them...the list goes on and on. I finally found it weeks later in the bottom of my backpack. How it got there i still don't know...i found it in the middle of class and almost jumped out of my seat and cheered!!

Wow! I just found my Silent Setter that's been missing for months. It was in a very safe place, in the box where I keep some of my less frequently used punches and crimpers. The weird thing is, is I could swear that I looked in that box a couple of time. I guess the vortex must have spit it out again!

I have really enjoyed reading all your mishaps with items. It makes me feel better that I'm not the only one that loses things and can't find them! I lost the brush that goes with the Powder Pals. I can't find it. I've looked everywhere and it just doesn't turn up! I have given up on it because it's been gone for so long.

My bone folder! Last time I used it, I was making Qbee's peek-a-boo boxes, and it disappeared afterwards. Had to buy a new one, since I had another round of boxes to make. I thought for sure it would turn up when I came home with a replacement, but I suppose it's gone to that big tool caddy in the sky.... :(

anyone seen my templates?

I lost 2 templates - one for an envelope and one for an alphabet. i have looked everywhere and can not find them. I accused my DD of using them but she claims she didn't. I swear I remember her using them but she said nope. Where oh where did they go. They were my favorites too.

I lost my old style CM circle cutter. I knew where the glass cutting mat and circle template were, but couldn't find the cutter for anything! Checked every drawer, shelf, box, cubbiehole . . . I finally gave up. That's when I found it - - - Hanging right in front of my face on my pegboard! Boy, did I feel like a man! I know you've seen them standing in front of an open refrigerator and hollering because they can't find the milk jug that's right under of their noses - - - I now can feel their pain. But at least I found my circle cutter!

I bought a very nice little pair of nonstick cutterbee scissors yesterday. I had them for exactly two hours (long enough to trim one set of stamps) before they disappeared. My four-year is old is the culprit. I've gone crazy looking for them. My lime green crop-a-dile is also MIA. And my stylus. I'm sure there are other things missing that I just haven't realized yet. Oh and the handbook to my paper dolls cartridge.

My New Years Resolution is to get and stay organized and hide everything from my kids. Maybe some day I can get my own craft room with a locking door.

OMG. I just found my scissors. "Someone" dropped them into my cardstock file. I found them when looking for my sheet of scalloped edge paper. Didn't find the scalloped paper though.

I once spent three hours looking for a sheet of uncut rubber only to discover--I never bought it. Lusted after it, bought another full sheet with a few single images like the full set I wanted, but never bought the original one I "lost."

So how did I discover I never bought it?

Looked on the invoice, of course! That I could find.

This is not stamping related but...I lost my sewing machine oil. Cleaned up the whole basement, instead of sewing Christmas gifts, last Saturday in hopes of finding it. No luck! Sent dh to sewing machine store to pick up some more. He comes home with oil and a big grin on his face. He told me that it was good I sent him to the store because he got my Christmas gift. Well, how about that? Still haven't found the other bottle of oil that I know is around somewhere.

I have now, officially, lost my Round Tab punch. I ordered a replacement last night, so I'm sure to find it the day after I get the new one! LOL!

OOOOOOO! I'm so jealous!!! I wish I could send DH out to get something for me, and then have him purchase a gift! Maybe you could have your DH call my DH with his secrets!
