Question Stamping on Glass

Has anyone tried stamping on glass (vases, candle holders, etc). I have a customer that wants to try it. Do you use Staz On. Please let me know if you have tried this and was successful. Thanks for all your advice.

Go to the Techniques forum and look for "lights" -- there are several threads about the Glass Block Lights that are popular for Christmas. Good instructions.

I've stamped on micro scope slides and used Staz on...then painted the backs with the jacquard paints. That worked pretty slick.

I've stamped on glass with craft ink. I spray jars with porcelain spray (purchased from a ceramic store), stamp, colour, paint, etc and then seal it again with porcelain spray if I want a frosted look or with clear acrylic if I want it to be see through.

Etching is a beautiful technique to do on glass. Here is a link to Colleen Kidder's example and instructions: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
