Default Stamping in San Francisco

Help! I am going to San Francisco in June and although I know that I will have lots of things to see and do, I was hoping that I would have the opportunity to appease my rubbah habit. Are there any good craft and/or stamping stores or scrapbook stores in that area. I am clueless. If I can't stamp of see a stamp for a week, I think that I shall survive as I am going to Seattle in August and I know what the PNW has! You all don't realize how starved for stamps a gal from Miss. can be!

I was going to suggest that Stamp Francisco would be located in San Francisco... sounded logical to me! But guess what, it's up here in Camas, WA.
Second suggestion... Try the online Yellow Pages.

Or.... just wait for a bit. A San Francisco Splitcoaster may be right here to give you great advice. (any advice is probably better than mine)

I'm not sure if there are any in SF. You will want to go to FLAX it's on Market Street @ Valencia. Just over the SF/Oak Bridge in Berkeley there is a Stamp/Scrapbook store cant remember the name at the moment. I'll get back with you with more info.

I'm on the outskirts of SF Bay Area. I don't know of any stamp or craft stores in the city. There are lots of Michaels (big craft store) in the suburbs. Are you busy the whole week? You could take BART (rapid transit train) out my way and I could take you to Stampers Warehouse www.stamperswarehouse.com , but that would eat up a good portion of a day. What sort of things are you planning to do? Let me know if I can help with ideas.

Oh, are you familiar with the Mark Twain quote: "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco." It could be a nice 80 degrees out my way and in the cool 60s in SF. The ocean breezes and fog keeps it cool there. So, dress in layers.

tinakim, I'm in Livermore. I also go to California Stampin' in Pleasanton, not quite as big as Stampers, but closer to me.
