Default stazon cleaner??

What is it and where do you get it? I see that we don't sell it so Michaels, Hobby Lobby or my LSS? Will it get it all off your stamp?

I got some at Michael's - it was with the stamp cleaner stuff & is called Stazon Cleaner. It works best if you use it right away but will also help older stains.

My upline and I were making ornaments today using black Stazon. She used the Mr. Clean Eraser to clean her stamps after we were done. I was in awe. That thing is simply amazing. She even used it after we stamped all day (let them dry, stamp some more, rinse lather repeat) and it took 95% of it off!

The SU Yo Yo Yellow Classic Ink Pad also works to clean Stazon off of your stamps. I have a Yo You Yellow Classic Ink Pad that I use just for cleaning Stazon.

I ordered the Stazon cleaner online. I think it's only about $3.50. It works great on the stazon ink, AND on SU Basic Black, versamark, pigment ink....
I love the Stazon cleaner.
www.stampandgo.com has it for $3.29. They have free shipping if over $100 or $4.95 shipping otherwise. They have great prices on Brilliance & Stazon pads and sell reinkers for them too.
Do a google or yahoo search to find many other online sources for the cleaner.

Plain ole' rubbing alcohol take it all off--even when it has been on the stamp for awhile. I use the alcohol, rinse the stamp in water. I haven't seen any issues with the stamp rubber drying out--like so many folks fear. I think rubber is really sturdy stuff--if you can use bleach to stamp with a little dip in rubbing alcohol isn't gonna do much! IMO.

Default Ranger stamp cleaner

The other one that will take it off even after it's been sitting for months is the Ranger Stamp Cleaner. It's one of those little bottles with the sponge on top...it has an orange label. And anyplace that sells the Anirondeck inks (or other Tim Holtz distressing inks) should have it. Archiver's had it by me.

I was amazed at how well it took off Stazon...even after months of sitting on a shelf!

Default Staz On Cleaner

I was using the Ranger cleaner but I won't buy it anymore because the felt that is on the part where the cleaner comes out ripped right off. That happened to another one of my friends also. I haven't found anything that completly takes off the staz-on. I'm going to pick up some of the cleaner that was mentioned form Walmart, I think it made by "Stampcraft" or something. They said it only costs $2 so for that price I'll try it. I also think that with any of the cleansers the quicker you use them the more of a chance you will get that ink off. Some of the rubber on the stamps also seems to clean off better than others. I really don't know why that is as they are all SU stamps. Carol

I use rubbing alcohol, too. I just make sure to spritz the stamp with water immediately afterward....it works like a charm, hasn't hurt my stamps, and costs about $1.00 for 16 oz.
I started keeping rubbing alcohol on my stamping table when I became a StazOn addict...a little alcohol on a Q-tip is great for fixing "oops-ies" on dominos and acetate.

I am a big fan of the Stazon cleaner and wish SU would carry it since we carry the pads. It's great at cleaning just about anything off of your stamps and it's not very expensive. I've found it at AC Moore, Archiver's and my local stamp store. HTH
