Red face Sticky Everywhere, I need help!

my mom has a set that she got before she knew she was supposed to trim the stamps(aaagh!) Now she wants them trimmed, but when you remove the stamps it leaves sticky all over the block. I tried goo be gone, but the wood just soaks it up and the sticky doesn't budge. Do you think sealing over the sticky would make it not sticky? Does anybody have any other tip? Thanks for the help!

I bought a set on ebay one time that was this way. I put baby powder on the sticky part with a small brush and the sticky went away!!

Try using the embossing buddy. When I remove cards from my display board, I use the EB and rub it over the mono I used to stick the cards on the board. It works great!

FYI...I have changed how I display cards....I put the cards in a clear envelope with velcro on the back. I then have the other 1/2 of the velcro on the board and stick it on. I also have one board that is fuzzy, so I only need the prickly part of the velcro to put on the back of the card. I like it better than using mono and ripping the cards off the board.

Thumbs up Powder works great!

I have plenty of baby powder, so I tried it and it works great. I even used the back of a paring knife and was able to scrape it off once I put the powder on it. Then dipped it in powder again and you can't even tell it was ever there. Thanks again for the ideas. It really helped!

Try using Undu. It's the best thing I've ever found for removing adhesive, stickers, etc!

Ditto to un-du! I have used it for that very purpose before. I can't live without it.
