Default Stores near St. Louis/CKC in Collinsville

We have a group that are going to the CKC St. Louis. It is actually in Collinsville. We would like to do some shopping Saturday(stamping stuff of course)in the area. Anyone have some recommends? We are coming from Southern Illinois area. We are familiar with:

Fairview Heights area

Archivers
Michaels
Hobby Lobby
Scrapbook Factory
Joanns(not a good one)

I would love to hit some LSS and give them my support. Thank you

I can recommend two favorites. The first is The Ink Spot in Kirkwood. Julie has an awesome selection of stamps, and she carries a big assortment of amuse stamps as well! Great displays, too! I hear she's having an event for The Saltbox Studio on March 15th also! Here's the link:

My other favorite is Rock Paper Scissors in historic St. Charles. Corey has an awesome shop! Lots of fabulous papers and accessories, as well as fun stamps. Here's the link to Corey's blog:

If you go to St. Charles, make a day of it! It's a fun place to shop, eat, and explore.

Have a great time! I'll be saying goodbye to my St. Louis home this month, but it's been a fun place to live. Enjoy!

Default Best store in St. Louis IMHO

The best scrapbook store is For Keeps Sake in South County St. Louis on Lemay Ferry Road!! They just expanded again and they were fabulous to begin with.

My most favorite store in St Louis is the Inkspot mentioned above. Redlead is about 10 minutes from the Inkspot so I would visit both of those stores if you have time.

I love Rock Paper Scissors too!

Have a great trip!

I second red lead and the ink spot. I have family in St. Louis and visit both when I go which I will be doing next month. Also Art Mart which started as an artist's store many years ago use to carry quite a bit but I do not know if they still do. they are on Hanley Rd.

Ditto!!! I am about an hour out from St. louis (Warrenton) but try to get here whenever I can. they usually have an awesome booth at CKC, too.

I had not heard of RedLead - will have to check them out.

Oh yeah! Art Mart is awesome! I also went to Dick Blick in Clayton a few weeks ago. They're a great source for notecards, quality papers and cardstocks, and supplies like Prismacolor pencils and Prisma markers. Great stores for artist-types!
