but I'm gonna ask anyways. Do I need Loads of love?
I've checked out the galleries and stuff and I can't decide if I want Loads of love or not. Convince me I want it so I won't be sorry when its gone.
I'm not super creative like some of the ladies here, but I think I can find some simple uses for it. I keep going back and forth with this and The end of November is getting closer.

well.... are you hoping to be talked INTO or OUT OF buying it? we can word this either way!
personally, even with all the cute samples, I opted not to get it. I don't think I'd use it for much on my own and I can't demo it after Nov so it wasn't worth it to me.

I really liked it and debated also but end the end bought it. I have just moved and "had" to have the truck for my moving cards. It's one I'll be lending to friends too. If I hadn't moved I would not have bought it.
I usually don't buy a stamp set unless it can be used for just about every type of card I might want to send, unless of course it is Christmas. I wasn't crazy about Loads of Love, but thats just me.

well...
It makes VERY cute polyshrink charms! I also like it for masculine cards. It can be used for boys or girls... valentines day cards, christmas cards... YES, I have it, and I do like it!
I purchased Loads because I don't have many stamps for men/boys. I also love the variation into a school bus and will use that for my children. The only thing I had for "get well's" was flowers and now I can send stamps from this set as a "Pick-me-up"
I haven't used it yet but had to have it-when my 6yr old son was 4 we went to a paint-your-own-pottery place and he painted a bank that is the exact same shape of pickup truck as the stamp. I couldn't believe it when I noticed it! He was so excited when I got the set. I'd post a picture of the bank if I knew how...
I agree with Jody and Momto2. Another great thing is that you could put ANYTHING on the back of that truck. Seems like there's no end to what fits back there!
Well I am one of those demonstrators that tries to be conservative in what I buy out of the mini catalogs. Every mini that comes out I get excited about different sets, but then remind myself that this may or may not make it to the BIG catty next year, and so try to use my income wisely so that I can purchase sets I know will be around for at least a whole year.
THAT SAID....I GOT LOADS OF LOVE! I debated at first too & finally got it about half way through the mini quarter. I love it & have used it numberous times. I have also demoed quite a bit & my customers have been so enthusiastic with ideas as well. One of the selling points for me when I saw the many samples was that there are so many little things you can put in the back of that pickup besides what comes with the set to make it spread over numerous seasons & holidays!
I didn't get it, and I'm OK with that. I have seen loads (get it??) of cute cards made with it, but I never felt like I needed it. I am trying to curb what I buy out of the minis, and Loads of Love didn't make the cut for me.
Melissa, seeing your little boy in your avatar, I would have to say "Just Get It". There aren't many sets that are useful for boys, but my 8 yr old son really liked it when I got it. I then showed him some of the gallery examples and he loved it more. This set will probably get into the big catalog next year for that reason and because it's been very popular here (SU must watch this site, don't you think?).
My DH has a crew cab truck, so I'll have to try the "stretching" technique I've seen in some examples. He buys as many accessories for that truck as I buy for my stamping! Haha, mine are cheaper though.
If I ever feel like I might regret not buying a set later I always just go ahead and get it. You can always get rid of it later if you decide you don't want it, but it might be harder to get if you wait and try to find it after it is gone.
I personally got it to make cards for my husband and other male relatives throughout the year and for Scrapbook pages for my son! He loves trucks!
So it was a must have for me along with web wishes - then I saw the poinsettia wheel and swirling stars and they will be purchased this week as well!
Good luck !!

Glad you got it!! It's one I debated for a while too (mine's shipping in today!!!!) I just couldn't resist because it is just so so versatile. I've seen wonderful Christmas, Birthday, Halloween, Valentines, just because, masculine, femanine, etc. etc. cards with it. You can put anything in the back of that truck!!! And (this is not an expert opinion) but because of the versatility and popularity of that set I wouldn't be too surprised if we saw it again!
Another vote for GET IT! It's SO versatile - you can use it for all kinds of cards, for masculine cards, all seasons. There's no limit to what you can put in the back of that truck!!
Just check out the gallery here if you need ideas!

I have it... I know this my sound strange to some of you, but I actually used it for a sympathy card. I used the truck as the slider part (two sets of pennys) and the "Thought you could use a pick me up." I just didn't feel right about making a card with anything else for this person. I had made a crocheted flower for her and need something cute to go with it. I used the little flowers to stamp a white gift box. Needless to say, she loved it. I'm not sure you could use it in every case, but this time it was perfect.
Well, I have it and I'm a little disappointed in how much I have used it. I'm not a good colorer so it's a little intimidating for me. Although, it's got to make the catty next year - it seems so popular! So for that reason, I'm glad I have it.

Of course you need this stamp. For me if there is a question about it I always seem to be sad when I pass it up. And now with free shipping how could you pass it? Buy!
Okay, I think ya'll have convinced me too. I have been debating whether or not to get this one...I keep telling myself, it will probably be in the next catty so I should wait to get it later since there are so many other things I want right now. But I might as well get it now with the free shipping...SU always knows what promotions will push me over that edge!
Thanks for your advice, everyone! That darn pick-up is just too cute to pass up.
