Default SU Birthday Calendar Question

I noticed that everybody seems to stamp on the page with the month and days. Why not stamp the big empty page that would be on top (like a regular calendar)? Is it because the ink will show through on the other side or because the large white space is too intimidating? Just curious because I'm about to do my first one...

Three reasons for stamping on the calendar "face":

1) The hole to hang the calendar is just under the spiral binding. That means that the blank side (back of previous calendar page is hidden when you hang the calendar.

2) If you want to hang it lengthwise with both sides showing, you'd have to punch the hole at the bottom of the page (no big deal), but you'd also have to find a spot that will hold the calendar unfolded (5 1/2" x 28").

3) Possible show through on the calendar face from the stamping on the back of it.
