Default SU Colored pencils

 Are SU colored pencils wax based? I wanted to try the Gamsol tech. but don't have the prismapencils. I have SU pencils. Will these work? Thought I would ask first before making a mess.

Thanks!!

Yes, they will work. I think the reason so many people like the Prismacolored pencils is that you can get more than 12 colors.

I don't think so. To blend watercolor pencils, just use a blender pen.
