SU demo or not?

Ok, I just signed up to be a SU demo. And am wondering how many people here are also a demo and how many are not. So just an easy poll!

I'm not sure how to answer this poll. I was a demo for three years and then quit for some personal reasons (nothing to do with SU or anything, just had a lot going on in my life at the time). I wasn't a demo for 5 whole months before I couldn't stand it anymore and signed up again! LOL So this time around I have been a demo for only two months but if you don't count the 5 months in between I have been a demo for 3 and a half years.

I'm a hobby demo, which I love. I enjoy the fact that I get previews of new mini's and opportunities to purchase sets before they are available to the general public and that I get a discount on the products I buy...which is a substantial amount since I'm my own best customer. I still have a small customer base and do things like send out a monthly newsletter, which keeps me on my toes looking for interesting things to pass along. I enjoy creating cards from not only SU! products but other vendor products as well...but SU! products ROCK.

I did the direct sales stuff actively for 7 years in a non-papercrafts-related company, and I just don't care to get back into that sort of thing again. So I'll just continue to support my good friend's SU business like I have been for the last 5 years.

I've been a demo for almost 4 years now. Right now things are very hectic and busy in my life so as of April, I'll be in the hobby demo mode. That's what I love about SU - it lets you control the pace.

I voted that I am not a demo - because I'm not. But I used to be a demo. Still love SU!, just didn't want to do the demo thing anymore.

Quarterly minimums are $300. That's just $100/month!
Hobby Demos mostly just support their habits. They may have a few customers, but they just enjoy getting great products at a discount. Other than that, there's really no difference. We all buy the same starter kit (unless you took advantage of the mini kit during SAB) for the same price & we get the same newsletters, discount, etc.
