Demos are just getting notices that the orders have been submitted to supplier. As of right now, we have no way of tracking the orders to see if or when they ship. The only demos that have catalogs right now are the ones that are at the convention right now.
Dumb question...I've seen the spoilers for the catalog. Are they spiral bound this time? Or did the demos at convention just get them that way?
Nancy
The catalogs at Convention are spiral bound. The boxes of catalogs coming to demos won't be spiral bound. Many people have mentioned getting them spiral bound at a reasonable price at an office supply store that has copy/binding area in it (like Office Max/Staples, etc.).

This is correct, and it's awesome to have done. Just make sure that the person that does it, cuts really close to the binding, and doesn't remove some of the item numbers or words. Somepeople have had it done, but with dissastious results. I've had it done at Office Max and a Kinkos, and havne't had problems. I also like to have both covers laminated, and this year, I'll purchas pockets at WalMart to have inserted also.

I always have mine spiral bound. The best job that was ever done for me, was at Office Depot. But it all boils down to the person that's doing it. It doesn't cost much. I think approx. 5 bucks
Ditto on lamination of front and back, I always have this done also.
May I ask what the above person was talking about on inserting pockets?

Reason: Add to
You can have pockets added to the finside ront and back covers. It's handy to carry promotion flyers, mini catalogs, etc. I believe you can have it done when you get it spiral bounded.
I am a demo and paid for catalogs weeks ago.. they were supposed to ship out today, so they'll be here in about a week. Your demo should be getting hers around that time too. I'm sure as soon as she gets them, she'll let you know.. If you want to see pictures of the catalog and some stamp sets, check out the convention thread at the top of the forums... be prepared to spend a lot of time in there because there is lots to be seen and every day there is lots of new fun information being posted too.
happy stamping! Pam
*ps I get my catalogs bound each year, I get the plastic binding and works great and only costs a few dollars.. I had one done and then took back a whole stack of catalogs from years past and then all them done too.

sorry Grannypat, I wasn't tracking this thread, but it appears that Sheryl answered your question. You can buy "pockets" from most office stores and walmart. I think they are intended to go into a 3 ring binder. But, you can have whoever does your sprial binding to insert it before actually putting the coil binding on.
And yes, it is my understanding that they won't be available on line untill the 11th or 12th.

Can someone please point me in the direction of this thread? Is it on the demo side of the forums? Because I'm logged in and everything, but for the life of me, I cannot find it! LOL Thanks.

I have that done with my SU catalogs - makes it MUCH easier to open my catalog & I can keep it open! I also tell the people who do my spiral binding to not cut the spiral short & bend it at the end so it won't come out!
