Dear Janine,

Thank you for contacting My Memories Support.

I would be happy to assist you with your questions. And here are our current plans to help My Digital Studio customers migrate to My Memories Suite. Keep in mind that these plans may change from now to when the MDS site goes offline.

1. We unfortunately are not going to be providing continued support for the MDS software after support is discontinued on May 31st.
2. We are offering any MDS user a free version 5 of My Memories Suite (with free account setup). Please create an account on our site, once you have an account created let me know, and we will add the download link to your account Free of charge.
3. Installed MDS content can be migrated into My Memories Suite. (steps below in attached pdf) Be sure to download any purchased MDS content to your computer prior to site closing.
4. You can convert any MDS created album project into a MMS album by changing the file extensions from .mds to .mms. (steps in pdf)
5. MMS offers professionally printed photobooks and calendars. https://www.mymemories.com/photobook
6. MMS does not offer direct professionally printed board books, journals, and cards. Be sure to finish any of these project types in MDS prior to closing of print services.
7. Our content such as Papers and Embellishments will work with MDS, but only if you select the General format. (Or do the reverse of the migrate steps in the pdf attachment.)
8. You may used this discount promo code for half off latest version 6 software. use promo: upgradeMDS at checkout.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for the info! Your link does not work (is it from the demo page?)

When will MDS be discontinued?

The last of the new downloads were posted on March 17. There will be no more and support as well as mydigitalstudio.net will go away on May 31. You should go to mydigitalstudio.net and read the info there, back up your files/downloads. You will still be able to use the software, you just won't be able to use print services and there will be no more downloads or updates.

Shoot, glad I waited until I only wasted $20 on the thing instead of it's original price of $75!! I'm guessing at the actual prices, but I personally never liked the program. It seemed slow and could have had a better interface. I have Microsoft Publisher that works better for me.

Thanks for the info, Jeri! I use mine program all the time and love it. Especially the fact that I can cut with my eClips. I don't use the print services at all. It saddens me that SU is discontinuing this program but nice to see Story Rock is picking up the gap!
