I have cousin's who can use Uncle Dad cards. My cousin Deb was married and had 3 boys. They divorced (Deb and hubby, not the boys lol). Many years later ex-hubby marries Deb's sister. So ex- hubby is now Uncle Dad to kids, ex-hubby brother in law to deb, ex brother in law hubby to sis, sis is aunt step-mom to kids and Deb is Step Aunt Mom to boys. I think all that is right. lol Also our Uncle's 2nd ex-wife is the sister of hubby. I'm not even going to try to figure out those relationships! rofl
On that same side of the family is also this relationship: Grandma married Harry, the afore-mentioned Uncle's 1st ex-wife was his niece. I guess that makes Harry Uncle Grandpa to those kids. OMG, I never thought of that before!! ROFLMAO!! And this family is in Michigan, not West Virginia!! lol
Thank goodness I don't live near those people, oh so much drama!
Jeff Foxworthy says you know your a redneck if your tree doesn't fork, it's just a trunk. So I always tease my Dad that while our family tree does fork, it also braids. ROFLMAO, AGAIN!!

You all are a bad influence and I just couldn't resist making a "What the cluck?" card today. It was approved to the gallery, so I guess it wasn't too risque. I'm just surprised no one beat me to it. LOL
This is the funniest thing I have read in ages - do we have the sets yet? I am going to find my newest SU! catty and see if any of these have been added. I seriously do have a need for many of these sentiments. Any more creative poets to add to this amazing thread?
Toooooo funny! How about one for my BIL (DH's brother):
Sorry to hear you lost your job. . . AGAIN!
Sorry to hear you crashed your car . . . AGAIN!
Sorry to hear you got dumped. . .AGAIN!
Sorry to hear you got evicted. . .Try paying your rent next time!
Oh man, if you only KNEW! My step sister married her step uncle (her mom's second husbands brother!) So her mom is also her sister in law, her step dad is her brother in law, her step grandma is her MIL, her step grandma is grandma AND great grandma to her kids, her own mother is aunt AND grandma.... Grandpa is also uncle... YIKES!
LOL!! Sometimes you need to hear things like this to realize that your life really isn't that bad. Thanks for the pick me up! :p
I need some stamps to make cards for one of my best friends for the last 15 years! She and my brother were together for several years, had a son (6 days apart from my oldest son!) but never married.
We (this gal and I) spend a lot of time "introducing" each other - my friend/my son's aunt - the "biological" father's sister.......
We are better friends and spend more time together than my brother spends with his son, of course, so over the years we've just left it at "this is my friend".
Oh I just love this thread - need one for ex who's married 6 times (i was lucky #2) or Sister who is working on #4. the stamp should say "congratualations on marriage # ____ (fill in the blank)"!
I need one for my son ' Sorry your Dad is such as A_ _! I didn't know, really I didn't'
How about a set that says something like "Glad/Sorry you are having a good/bad bipolar day!" Don't mean to make light of mental illness, but sheesh! If you've ever had to live/love someone with it, you need a good laugh!
As a happy stepmother, I am always on the look out for stamps or stickers/papers that are suitable for our Blended Family. I am an avid stamper and scrapper-and yes, the industry is missing out on us. Most families are blended of some sorts ( I cringe at the word dysfunctional-as I feel are family functions in it's own special way). Hopefully one of the great stamp companies out there will fulfill this niche!
BTW-how about a card for "Happy Divorceversary-so glad that you cheated on me and left our family so that I could find the woman of my dreams!"? (that is our instance-yes, in this case it was my DH's ex would was the one doing the roaming)

I was thinking last night after I went to bed that this sounded very rude. But my BIL has the poorest judgment of anyone I know. The situations he gets himself into just amaze me. Can't believe he was raised by the same people who raised my DH. Five years ago, his parents (my IL's) just thought if he got married, he would grow up and start making better choices. He was divorced six months later.
But really, there could be a whole stamp set based around the situations he gets himself into. In addition to the ones above there could be:
Sorry to hear about your bankruptcy. . .Try laying off the 1-900 sex lines

LOL!!! I didn't think they sounded rude at all!! I was just trying to figure out how we ended up with the same BIL!!!
With all of the new stamping companies these days you'd think one would carve out their own niche by creating stamping and scrapping supplies for this much-needed area. Is anyone listening?
Bet Viva Las Vegastamps would do them! it's kinda their sense of humor IMO...
Oh and there is also...
Thank you dear Aunt for divorcing that creepy guy who fathered your children, my cousins, I'm grateful I now don't have to acknowledge him as family ANYMORE! What took you so long?
I was chatting to some friends and they pointed me to this thread ......
My DH's ex wife married again and split up (not divorced) and now lives her husbands best friend who is also the husband of her husband's sister and they have a child together...work that one out
My brothers wife was married before ...her husband is now married to her mother....
My oldest brother was married to Betty, My 2nd oldest brother was married to someone else.......Oldest and Betty Divorced, then 2nd oldest and his wife divorced, now 2nd oldest is married to Betty! NICE!!!!!! Their kids are cousins and step-brothers and step-sisters. Oh and the best part is, my oldest brother lives with them too!!! He is a bum and doesn't have anywhere to stay, so they take care of him! His ex-wife treats him like one of the kids because he pretty much acts like one!!!
Ahhhhhhhh.....The joys of family life!!

I've been reading this thread and just love it!! Then I had this thought, even though there are no stamps to say these wonderful little ditties, there's nothing stopping anyone from printing them out on the computer ;) Somewhere in SCS some nice person made a list of RGB codes to match the Stampin Up colors and Word Art does all sorts of fun stuff, add a great font and off you go!!!!!!

How's this one? My mom married my first stepdad. They got divorced when I was about 21. When I was 36, she married his brother. So my ex-step brothers are now my step-cousins. One of the aforementioned step cousins said that the family tree goes in a spiral!
I also am still on very good terms with my ex MIL. We go over there for dinner just about every Sunday (including my husband). She calls him her son.
I am soooo enjoying this thread! I thought I was the only one who had stuff like this in the "family tree!"
My husband's daughter married her step-brother! She's miserable, but that's besides the point. I told my sister this and she asked how high up in the mountains this daughter lives! (If she gets divorced, can she move home with mom and step-dad (father-in-law?)
Also, I sent birthday cards to this step-daughter's daughters (they are 364 days apart in age), one daughter got hers and the other arrived 4 days later. The daughter calls her dad and asks why I only made a card for her one daughter and not the other (even though we had told her I had mailed both cards).
I was a bit upset! Like it was our fault the post office screwed up. Two of the three daughters have done nothing to accept me, which, you know, is their problem!
Anyway, thanks for all the laughs. It sounds like my EX-husband's family, too!
I'm not even going to try to figure out those relationships! rofl

What is really sad ~ and funny at the same time.. is that I know of two families personally that are just this way.. I wonder if somehow we know each other! ha ha.. one family is in TN and the other is in MO.
what fun ~ Pam
