Default SU Retiring In-Colors

I am on my last package of Cool Caribbean and wish that I would have gotten more when I had the chance.

This time around I may stock up on River Rock (I think it is a great neutral.) and possibly Soft Sky. The others I can do without.

I have to have more Pomegranate. I didn't fall in love with River Rock like I thought I would.

I'll really miss soft sky, maybe even more than my beloved Cool Caribbean! I can't wait to see the new colors in person!

i usually try to 'resist' the in colors for the very reason that they will retire.

i am still collecting the core colors of ink and CS tho. i will probably be more inclined to get more in colors after i have completed the basics. does that make ANY since?

i did buy the PP ribbon when it was on special and also got the CS and ink so i will need to stock up on the CS before it's gone.

i love that they introduce trendy colors but leave the core colors alone.

Blue Bayou and Soft Sky go so pretty together, I'll be getting some more of them. And I love Groovy Guava with River Rock and Always Artichoke -- so I guess I'll be getting some more of GG and RR. I think my favorite In Color this go round is GG.

last year all I got was one pack of assorted and all the ink pads.

this time, I got the pack of assorted, all the ink pads and then decided that Guava, Rock and Wasabi were worth buying full packs of . I even went so far as to get the prints in Guava and Rock just to expand possibilities after they go buh bye.

and FTR, not loving the next batch of In Colors yet. whereas the other two, HAD to have them when I saw the previews. I may have to see a few things made with 'em first....

I bought 1 package of all the colors except the pomegranate. I like that color, but to me it was just too close to Rose Red, and I already have so much of that color. I also bought the soft sky, blue bayou, wasabi, and guava ribbon.

I am going to miss these colors when they're gone, so far I'm not too impressed by what's coming. Which is fine, because if I order more paper I'm going to run into storage issues.

I always get a multi-pack of the new in-colors regardless if I like the colors at the time. They always seem to grow on me. ;)

I picked river rock becasue it is such an awesome neutral. But I actually stocked up on all of them. Unlike last year, when I only really loved cool caribbean and cranberry crisp, this time around I love all the in-colors. It will be hard to let them go.

As for the new batch,I'm reserving judgment. When this year's colors came out I wasn't too crazy about them and look where I am now. So I will get the assorted pack of CS and a couple of ink pads and I'm sure eventually I'll order it all, especially if there are new fun coordinating ribbons for all the new colors!

I'm a latest and greatest girl. I've stocked up in the past but never seem to use it. When you're seeing the new stuff and it's being used for color challenges and such, last years colors become...sooo last year! LOL

Bring on the new!

Well I stocked up on River Rock, Pomagrante, and Wild Wasabi, and sure wish I could get a couple packets of Cool Carribean, that was before I really got into SU paper. I'm like Momis Mama I've started stocking up on all the SU basic CS and ink pads for now and will see about the new colors when they come out.

I tried to resist, getting only a sample pack of cs...then had to make shower invites and thank yous in pomegranate, so I am sick of that one.....BUT I have so many prints pack hostess sets that I have to get a lil wasabi before it is gone. The guava was lovely with the ginger blossom paper, but that will go when the new catty comes out, so I can live without it.

While I love some of these colors, in particular River Rock, I won't be stocking up. Mainly because I'm a demo, and I am really wierd when it comes to holding on to things that aren't current (with the exception of a few stamp sets that I love)...plus, when it is gone, I will be sad to not be able to get any more paper, so I would rather just move on with it now and get rid of them when they are gone. :-)

River Rock goes so well with so many other things. It is "useful" more than "beloved". I didn't love any of them this year. I still miss Cranberry though! I have noticed how sop many of the In-Colors make great 2 stap stampin companions for permanent colors or fit exactly between 2 shades of permanent colors and *poof* they are gone.

I said none, but it has taken me almost 3 years of being a demo to realize I don't HAVE to stock up on things retiring. I seldom use anything retired. I even have 2 packages of last year's in-colors and I never use them.

I voted none b/c I have a pack of the assorted I haven't used yet. (new demo) I guess I'll just have to get excited and fall in love with the new in-colors.

I will buy an extra pack of CS and reinkers of pomegranate, wasabi and guava, those were my 3 favorites! I am still on the fence about soft sky and may buy that, but would have to buy the ink pad, reinker and the CS! I will buy one pack of river rock CS, because it goes so well with guava and the ginger blossoms DP, but I don't love the color!

I really like the soft sky and blue bayou especially when you throw in a little real red or kraft for masculine and ocean cards.

I'll get one more multi pack and a pack of Soft Sky. The thing about that color is that it often goes well with non SU DP, and I love to match stuff. (I already bought all the reinkers and made matching pads out of $1 ones.)

I did find, from last year, that I didn't use all the CCarribean like I thought I would. In fact, I'm just now in the process of making a wedding card with it bc it matches the color of the wedding, and it's the first time I've used in in months. I'll bet that will happen again. So, one pack of my fav (SSky) plus the three sheets from the multi ought to do me!

I voted none because last year I stocked up and I haven't even touched them this year. I am pretty sure the same thing would happen again so I am going to use the money on new stamps instead.

I {heart} River Rock. I wish it would be added to the selection of neutrals. I also really like Wild Wasabi and Soft Sky. I stocked up on paper packs and reinkers for those three colors and bought a multi-pack for just a few sheets of the other colors.

You didn't put "all of them" so I couldn't vote. But I especially love soft sky and river rock.

I'd love to get the purely promegrante because it looks so great but I refuse to purchase something that they are discontinuing. One of the reason I like SU colors is that I know they will be around for awhile.

I already bought wild wasabi, purely pomegranity and bayou blue, but I think I'm going to get some groovy guava and some more wild wasabi - I would be so sad if I ran out!

I use bayou and sky all the time-with Not quite navy. I liked this year's colors when I saw them, but next year's don't do a thing for me. I'll be stocking up. I'm not a demo, so I use what I like.

I haven't tried blue bayou and soft sky with not quite navy. I'll have to try that one. I love blue bayou and soft sky with groovy guava. And I just love love love wild wasabi!!! I'm not into pomegranate and I've never made a single thing with river rock, so I'm thinking I can live without that...but, reading how many of you love it as a neutral, I'm thinking that I should try it in the next day or two and see what I think. (I have it in a multi-pack.)

I will probably by a couple assorted packs. I didn't get into these In Colors as much as last year. And I stocked up on last years colors and then was afraid to use them so still have a good stash.
