Default Are SU scissors a must have?

I have been told this a couple times, so what does everyone think?

Thanks, Janice

I agree - yes, they are - I do mostly SU, but sometimes buy unmounteds too... they do the job really well. Just be sure to keep some nail polish remover handy to clean them up.

Yes, yes, yes. I don't know why they work so well, but they do. To think of all the stamps I cut before they came out with these! I use a baby wipe to get the gunk off.

Smile Scissors

I use my craft & rubber scissors for cutting stamps, twine, ribbon and paper. I loved mine so much I bought a second one!

I also say you have to get them. I have 2 pairs! Use goo gone to wipe off the gunk, easy as pie to mount new stamps.

One day, I'll break down and buy those $20.00 scissors. But right now, I have such a HUGE wish list of stamps and still only have about 1/2 the classic ink pads that I just never get around to buying them. Sigh.

Buy them! I purchased them after mounting and cutting I would say 15 sets. When I got them I asked myself why did I wait so long. Even if your wish list is huge it is worth getting them now before you buy more stamps!

It is worth every penny to get these...especially if you have a mile long stamp wish list. You will wish you would have had them at the top of your list. A MUST HAVE if you plan on "invensting" in SU stamps. IMO of course.

These are definetly worth the investment! I wish I had bought them much sooner than I did! If you are in doubt ask a friend or your demonstrator to try them! You will realize what you have been missing!!!

I absolutely love mine! I don't know why it took me so long to get them! I now have two pair of the craft and rubber scissors and one pair of the regular scissors and wouldn't be without them! My daughter bought the craft and rubber scissors too and said she couldn't believe the difference when she mounted her stamps! She said she now loves to mount stamps where before she hated to do it! In my opinion, they are well worth the money!

I have always used Joyce Chen scissors and sworn by them. My sister managed a cookware store for years and couldn't keep them in stock. These are better. I don't know if these SU scissors are just fresh and sharp, but they are a dream! I got my demo kit and my first order and have mounted 14 sets this week and am in love with them. I clean mine with a cotton ball and rubbing alcohol.

Must have, coming from someone who doesn't have them. I always borrow my friends. But soon, very soon. I'll get a pair.

I went thru about 14 pair of scissors, every brand name out there, then broke down and bought the SU ones, and they are the BEST out there by far!!! I have never enjoyed cutting stamps until I bought the scissors. My hands never get achy anymore, and I dont have the red bump-blisters like I did before. I couldnt afford NOT to have them!!!

I love mine and don't know what I did without them. They cut through that rubber just like butter!! I had a customer borrow them recently to mount a double alphabet and she ended up buying a pair she loved them so much.

Oh my goodness...YES!!!

I mounted my Mixed Bouquet set at my demo's while having a stamp night there, and I told her that they would be on my next order! I wound up winning them at her new catty open house, but I would have ordered them! They are amazing!!!

Another vote yes for essential. After mounting 30 sets (in a year and a half) I can really tell the difference.

You can also tell the difference on the retired sets I bought trimmed from my demo and the ones I did when I first got started (grin).

Oh yes... I got them in my demo kit and wish I would have bought them way before that... I had ALL my sets mounted in my starter kit in 1 night because it made it so easy to do!!

I would buy them even if I had to wait on a buying a stamp set to do so. They are worth the $$. I love mine and have told my husband in no uncertain terms that he is NOT to use them. Ever.

The paper snips ROCK ROCK ROCK! I use the cutter bee kind (identical except for color, made by same manufacturer) since I'm not a demo and I can get them cheaper that way. I also use the SU rubber scissors

You will NOT regret it!

I think the rubber scissors are $19.95 and mine still have a sharp edge 2 years and many sets later.
