SU Site Slow?

I just got my Demo # and have been trying to cruise the SU Site. Is it always this slow, I feel like I could take a nap between some of the page changes. It isn't my server, cuz none of the other sites I visit are slow. Just curious if this is unusual, or if I should just be patient. Debby

This is very unusual - but I think they're doing some software changes. For future reference, it usually flies in the really early morning or late at night. And it's just a bit slower during the day when everyone is on. And for more questions/ updates on the site itself, check "Site Suggestions" Under "Reader Feedback" in the main forums.

And WELCOME. I know there's a special forum for demo's, but not being a demo myself, I've never paid attention on how to get admitted.

I have noticed that it is extremely slow too! It's not usually this way. I have a feeling that it might be bogged down for a couple reasons:

1) Yesterday was the last day of the month, and the end of the month tends to be a busy time for entering orders, etc. Even though the last business day of the month was Friday, I was on trying to enter a few orders . . .so maybe others are too.

2) Convention just ended and maybe those who attended are super anxious to order all the fun, new things they saw demonstrated. This is just a guess--I could be totally wrong.

Rest assured, it's not usually this slow. Hopefully it will return to normal in a day or two!

Oops - I just realized that I was answering about SCS (which coincidentally is also slow today) and you were asking about the SU site. Sorry for not reading closer...
