Default SU TOP NOTE DIE

I do not have the big shot, but do have almost everything else in the world. I have the Cuttlebug and the Nestabilities wizard, does anyone know which plates I can use to go with this without having to buy that big shot?
Any help....
thanks,

I have the Cuttlebug and the Big shot dies work fine in it. The sandwich I use starting from the bottom up is:

Plate B
Top Note Die -- cut side up
paper
Plate B

That's it. Works like a dream. (My bug is on its last legs and I do need to use a shim between the first B plate and Top Note Die.)

I just included this Top Note die in my most recent SU! order for the Love You Much bundle. I can't wait to get it and try it out. I think you need to take the plunge as well. :p

Default Tan Pad

From the recipe described above, it doesn't sound like you need the tan mat. Is that true? Thanks.

The Top Note die works like a sizzix original die. Here is a link to see how to use it in your Wizard http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54yzQ0h9U08
The sandwich only uses the die itself, and the clear square mat that came with your Wizard (with the cardstock between the die and clear mat). Seems like a thick sandwich because the Top Note die itself is so thick, but when you watch the video you will see that she gets the sandwich started by using her hand to roll the rollers and make the sandwich engage. Hope this helps.

You only need the tan mat for embossing ... so for using the Top Note die to cut, you do NOT need the tan mat.

The B plate on bottom, Top Note facing up, paper and another B plate works great. Just remember - the reason that the Cuttlebug is affordable is because it is not a precision instrument. So some of you may find this really hard to get through. Others may have to put a piece of cardstock under the die to make it a little tighter. Cuttlebugs get looser over time so you may have to play around to get it to work.

it's a little tight going through, but works just fine...

I've even used it to cup thin chipboard in my Cuttlebug

Just wanted to say, if you love the Top Note, wait until the new catalog comes out and you see the other Stampin' Up! EXCLUSIVE dies!
