Talking Summer Riddle Guesses

Okay Ladies,

I thought it might be fun to guess at the Summer Riddle posted by SCS on the homepage. What technique tutorial do you think we will be seeing in the next few days. Take a guess and find out whose right.

Here goes: What is flat and fits on a computer screen, is spotted, and twisted, hard as a stone, is usually attempted in a barrel, a natural gem, and worn as an outer garment?

Here are my guesses.

Polished Stone

Waterfall cards

The rest has me stumped so far.

I think you're right on those two. My guesses would also be:

Natural Gem = Diamond dust

Outer Garment = maybe Folded T-shirt

The others still have me stumped too.

Maybe what is flat and fits on a computer screen has something to do with "Valerie's definitions sheets"

Well, we know the "spotted" part is the new spot technique that has been posted. I was thinking the outer garment could be Joseph's Coat also?

I think all the techniques and cards are flat and fit on a computer screen so maybe that's just a general clue???

Here's what I thought:
outer garment- Joseph's coat
hard as stone- something with polamar clay?
I agree with the flat one- something like Valerie's definations
something attempted in a barrel- tumbled coasters
twisted- tiedyed tissue background
spotted- I figured something with the spots. Turned out I got that one. LOL
natural gem was the one I really had no guess for. I guess since I don't have diamond dust, that's probably why it never crossed my mind.

I hope they put Tuesday's technique up soon so we can see if any of our guesses are right!!

I didn't even think of tumbled tiles for something in a barrel. Great idea!!
