Susie-esque
That's what Ava's daddy said about the birthday card she made for a friends party.. he said it had a Susie-esque look, my name is Susie and I am just beaming.
Ava just turned 7 and comes to my house fairly often, we have been stamping and crafting together since she was 2.
Today, she had a present for her friends party and needed a card so she made one out of printer paper, used markers to color it and then.. this is the good part...
.. she took some ribbon, made bows and uniquely decorated the corners of the card with the bows, all by herself with no help from anyone. Because "it needed something".
I have seen her being crafty on her own at my house, where there are tons of supplies but their house is NOT a craft haven so she was making do with what she was finding, it seriously looked good... and I am so proud of her!
