Not sure if this is the correct place for this, but I hope it is.
A friend just lost her second baby in as many years. It seems like I remember seeing a thread on baby sympathy cards, but can't find it if it really does exist.
Can anyone give me an idea of what to use for a tasteful card?
Thanks.

I would just do a sympathy card with some florals in soft colors. I lost a child a birth and I wouldn't have wanted to see any foot/hand prints or other baby images, just too much at the moment.
I'm so sorry, how sad :( I would search "baby sympathy" in the gallery.
When it comes to sympathy cards, I always buy them ~~ I am so terrible at making them, I feel like whatever image I choose, it's wrong & will make the person feel worse. But there are tons of beautiful ones in the gallery!!!
Here's the link. As a mom who lost a baby at 20 weeks of pregnancy, I will tell you that it's OK to use baby stamps....Jen agrees in this challenge. Hope it helps.
Thank you all so much. I appreciate your help and your suggestions as to what's appropriate.
It's just horrible that the card I was going to make to celebrate their news has now turned in such a sad way.

You can search for the cards in the gallery with the keyword of LSC58.
Will all due respect, it's not always OK to use baby stamps. As I said in my post I wouldn't have wanted it. It was a suggestion and something to keep in mind since we don't know how the OP's friend would feel. It's important that everyone understand that sometimes a mother who has just had her child die does not want to see little footprints.

I like the idea of an angel (TAC has some great angels) or a star (shines brightly always)....
