I am about to make an order and don't need any more stamp sets (note, I said don't NEED! LOL)
anyway, I am wanting to try a few different ink pads to see what they look like/do....are there any certain colors you would suggest I get to 'test' them?
also,
what paper do you use?
TAC has so MANY different things, I am not sure where to start and my kit only came with the one black pad and no paper
Do you belong to any of the tac yahoo groups. There was someone making ink charts. I have them all and they are sooooo nice. The person stamped each color of TAC inks so you can see exactly what they look like. I would suggest getting those, especially if you are a demo. My customers have loved being able to see exactly what they look like.
I love the opalite and brillance pads. The catalog doesn't do them justice but in person WOW!!! The brillance you can even use on coasters if you like doing those types of things.
Let me know if you need any information on the color charts they are great for demos!!!!
I know the Hybrid inks can be used on all types of surfaces. I plan on buying some to stamp on those Target $spot metal pails. You can also use them on tiles and fabric, I believe. What a great way to show their versatility. Kai scissors are a must if you want to cut your stamps accurately without any effort. I agree about the brilliance pads, too. Very stunning results. Haven't tried the paper yet. HTH

I am a new demo as well, and I just ordered the ink charts as well because I wanted to know as well. I guess I will have to order a couple of each to see which kind I like best, and for what.
Hi Ann,
I would definately try the hybrids - LOVE them. As for colors, only you know what your preferences are - i use alot of blues and pinks/purples. I think my favorites are: bordeaux, beau arts blue and burnt umber
As for paper, i really just buy from michaels and use the 40% off. I'm not too picky. I love making my own patterned paper. I have never tried SU paper - i'm afraid if i do, i will be hooked - and I can't really afford that! :-)
I love my kai scissors but you can find them a lot cheaper than in the TAC catty. Sunday international has them on sale for like $12.
Hi Ann
TAC has nice white paper very similiar to the US white cardstock that SU sells.......maybe identical. Also thier heavier cardstock 80# is very very nice. I got the combo pack and was very impressed.
I still buy SU cardstock though. Even though I am a TAC demo, I feel the colored SU cardstock is awesome. I would not do a demo with it though.

LOVE the hybrid pads. You can stamp on anything and you don't need a special cleaner. I just got the stamp store to haul all my stuff for workshops. I also have the rollabind really like that. Anyway good luck.
