Default Target $1 Spot Tip

I found these really cute sm. spiral notebooks marked down to .25--bought 9. Then today I thought..."I need them all!". When I went back they were GONE! They had packed them up and shipped them out for "salvage" as the gentlman said. He told me they only go down to .25 then they will soon be gone. So ladies, if you see a great thing for a quarter buy them all or they may be gone. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Default $1 Spot

I missed out on the .25 items too. Thanks for the tip, now I know .25 is as low as they go! Gotta watch the $1 spot carefully!

I stocked up on a bunch of the spiral notebooks, post-its and address books too. I tried removing the wire on the notebooks and covering the cover with Designer paper. I punched holes where the previous holes were and tried to wind the wire back on. It is a double strand of some heavy duty wire and it didn't go back on in an attractive way.
How are you ladies planning to do your stamping on these?

Towards the end of the summer they had flip-flops for a quarter in the spot area. I was so excited. That's cheaper than garage sale prices. I got on the other side of the store, then thought maybe I should go buy some for all of my girlfriends kids...by the time I got back over there a WHOLE bin of about fifty were gone! If you see it and want it...buy it! Hmmm, I wish I could make that my life motto!

I feel like my Targets aren't as good as other peoples! :( I find some cute stuff, but I don't ever see anything for a quarter. Maybe I need to look harder.

(and on the same note, when some WalMarts have sales (like on Sharpies), I get all excited and go.... only to find out that its not on sale at that WalMart! :( )

Default Target $1 Spot

I was just there yesterday! LOL! I bought a ton of the Jiffy Pops to give out as hostess gifts. I also bought cookie and brownie mixes to put in my "workshop in a box" that I hand out to customers who host workshops. (Janine Tink's idea)

Default Target $ spot

I was there yesterday. I have not been fortunate enough to find the $.25 items. I was excited though to find Ghiradelli coffee for $1. Chocolate/ Raspberry and Chocolate/ Almond. Mmmmmmm!

Alyson,

What do you use the Jiffy Pops for and please tell me more about your workshop in a box.

Default jiffy pop and workshop in a box

I got the idea for workshop in a box from JanTink. See the link here Gallery at Splitcoaststampers. I put my stuff in a large gable box.
