An ultimate subscriber is one who has all the past newsletters (I think CD's qualify) and they have a special password that lets them into any of the online tutorials no matter what year....you can also see the current newsletter the minute it hits the internet...even before your paper copy comes.
BTW......someone was talking about a lot of the techniques being around for ever and just being redone......WELL.......in the June issue, one of MY techniques was featured. As far as I know, it is original. I never saw anyone do it before! It is a new way to use a product that is already on the market! I just wondered if it would work....tried it....and it did!
I'm signing up now, as soon as Pat gets back to me with a paypal bill. Will I get the one with YOUR technique? I'm all intriqued now

If she sends you the June newsletter...yes! I assume that she would send you June as the next one will be August!
I'm going to be traveling to New England states in the fall and will get a chance to meet Pat in person....she lives only about a mile from some of my relatives in Stamford.....how fun is THAT!

I had a subscription but only used 1 or 2 techniques ... so for me, it wasn't my thing but then, I'm not a technique person either. Most of what I need, I find here on SCS!
Everybody has their own style! That is what is so great about stamping. For me, I don't ever seem to stamp in the collage style with little children and/or people with wings! But there are people on here and TJ that love that style!

Whenever I get my new TJ, I separate the pages and put each one in a page protector and then a binder. When I want to work on something, I can pull the page out and not worry about getting it messy.

So Pat got back to me and was nice as could be and laid out my options. You can be an ultimate subscriber from the start *at least I can bwahaahaahaa* Anyhow she said you can always upgrade later and she will give you the best deal and all. So I'm going to do the one year print subscription.
thanks everyone for your help.

Ooooo, famous! Ha Ha!! ;-) Thanks, Kathy!
The protector idea is great.....I'm lucky if I get mine in the binder!

Reason: added thanks
Great ideas! I'm going to have to try the page protector/binder thing. I just have mine "exposed" - ACK! lol...
I love the TJ newsletter and recommend it highly. It really helps me - otherwise I would just wander around stamping stores never knowing what all those goodies were for. I know I can see something in the store - get it and come home to find at least one technique from TJ that uses it and be happy. It's quite the little enabler After this past issue - I will FINALLY be saving up for a Cuttlebug and getting the embossing folders!
Location: Oh that poor carrot! It's been fondue'd!

I had a feeling you could Erin, but didn't see it on the subscription page... I had originally only signed up for a 3 month trial, then went to "ultimate" so I could see all the back issues as well. It's well worth it to see the past tutorials!
LOL Well, I'm a klutz, so if I'm going to try anything messy, I basically have to plasticate the whole area. (Made that word up there.)
You should see my cookbooks.... ;)
THAT is sooo me too but I try to prevail! Just yesterday while I was in the kitchen working with some alcohol inks for the AI Float, one bottle tipped over and gleeked onto my kitchen floor. Thank goodness alcohol blending solution will get it up!

I would LOVE to see an Index of all the "materials" used.
Well, not "all" but the ones people don't normally have.
I actually did one on my own way back, for a couple of the years, but didn't keep it up. And it would be a big job now - unless you were good with the computer and picking those things out. There's probably an easy way but I don't know it.

I totally agree with everything Ann Clack has said. I love it. I have belonged to both SCS and TJ since the beginning and I thoroughly enjoy them both for their different qualities. I have learned a lot from both. I may have gotten some techniques from somewhere else at times, but what's the problem with review. As for the flaming thing. Pat does not allow it. People have lost their privileges for doing that and I haven't seen anything like that for maybe 3 years. A totally wonderful group of sharing women.
I have made 2 really close friends and we get together once or twice a year to stamp. One lives in FL, one in TN and I live in NC. In June we are going to the Stamp Fest in Kisseeme, FL.

I saw some lists like your are asking about on the TJ yahoo group. I think they were under the files area.
Ooooooo, look at the e-mail I just got.....I think some of you might be interested in THIS!!
It is from Pat Huntoon.....owner of TJ.
