I am going to order, but which subscription?? Paper or paper with cd? What do you ladies have and use? Is the cd any different than the newsletter? Should I get all the back issues? What to do !!!!!! Please give me your opinions.
Thanks, Carla
I got the newsletter for my Mom for a present last year and she loves it! I would not worry about the back issues because by now most of the techniques you would be interested have probably made it here! I know my Mom got the CD and loves them. Good luck with your decision!

I only get the paper subcription and that's fine with me. The CD has additional techniques...but I usually find that I don't have time for all of the techniques.
It is all up to you. If you go to the website, I believe there is a section that gives you the info about the CD.
When I first started, I only subscribed for three issues. I figured if I liked it, I could renew or drop it. I renew for a whole year.
What is the technique junkies newsletter you are talking about and how can I get a hold of it? Thanks!
go to www.patstamps.com then click on the link for the technique junkies newsletter
It is a newsletter filled with step by step directions, and loads of color samples - great techniques. When you subscribe, you also have access to a yahoo group, online step by step color tutorials.
Newsletter vs. CD vs. Backissues...so many choices!
I am personally a "Technique Flunkie" and need to have strong "visuals" in front of me. Even then, I struggle to follow along...but I've never been a direction reader and as far as stamping and scrapping go, I'm pretty much "self-taught." Don't much like M&Ts because of pressure, that sort of thing. I *must* have clear directions that I can locate in a flash. That said, I have never used the CD because it would require me to both find and print what I want. Not that I'm a computer flunkie...no, far from that! I just *really* like the good old-fashioned snail-mail hard copies. When I first subscribed, I got all of the back issues as well...and I'm very glad that I did. I *love* being able to refer back to something and if I'm teaching something to a customer, I like that I can refer to Pat's instructions. Then I can usually refer someone to the Newsletter, too!
