I'm in a decision dilemma about which SU! stamp set to buy - of course, I wish I could get both, but must live within my budget. Does anybody have both sets and can tell me which they reach for more often? Any thoughts on which is a better buy? What would you add to my pros/cons lists?
Teeny Tiny wishes Pros:
(1) great for lots of occasions
(2) nice small size to not detract from other card elements
Teeny Tiny wishes Cons:
(1) I know that at least 5 of them (easter, thanksgiving, st.patty's day, halloween & new year's) I would not use because I don't make cards for those holidays - love the holidays, just don't make cards for them
(2) I have other stamps that express the same sentiments, but in different ways or different fonts
(3) cost!
(4) their wood-mounted and I'm moving more towards cling/clear stamps due to limited storage space
Fabulous Phrases Pros:
(1) cost - cheaper than Teeny Tiny
(2) clear/cling
(3) more flexibility with the matching of different words?
(4) still smallish in size, yet a pretty script
Fabulous Phrases Cons:
(1) I have to think more about combining the words - geesh!
(2) they address some occasions, but not as many as Teeny Tiny
Love Teeny Tiny! Much more flexible for me. The other one I love is Perfect Pairs. I demo both all the time and sell quite a few. The Teeny Tiny fit in the word window and alos in the small oval.
Personally, I like teeny tiny wishes better because it has so many occasions and holiday sentiments that I would use.
It's really a matter of your preference and if you feel that you would get more use out of fabulous phrases then maybe that's the set you should get. The thing with the fabulous phrases set is that you will have to put your sentiments together and (for me) I'm not sure I would want to do that all the time. HTH
I have both and I reach for Teeny Tiny so much more frequently than Fab Phrases. I did my Teeny Tiny as clear mount. I have no trouble with them falling off the block. Since Fab Phrases is in CM, you can line up the words on the block before stamping.
I vote for Teeny Tiny too. It has just about every occasion as you mentioned, and you never know when the need will arise when you do need that simple phrase even though you never thought you would make cards (or projects) for that holiday. Teeny Tiny is also great because it is stamp and go. There is no additional work needed to align multiple words. They are both great sets, but I do turn to Teeny Tiny Wishes more often.
In the end, no one knows better than you what kind of cards you like to create and for what purpose. If your gut says Fabulous Phrases, then I think it is right decision for you.
If you find you don't like the font of the stamps that you have or are seeing, there are websites where you can download fonts for free and print sentiments onto cardstock with your printer. Saves TONS of money and I print out sheets of them on either whisper white or very vanilla so they go with just about everything I do

Teeny Tiny Wishes is one of the sets from which I definitely got my money's worth. As far as wood-mounted, I stamped the individual sentiments on my Vellum cardstock so that when I use a sentiment, all I need is the stamp-a-ma-jig to perfectly place it--not first stamping it on the plastic sheet. I keep those vellum sheets in the case with the stamps. Fab Phrases is a great set, but not one of my go-to sets. I use a few of the phrases often; i.e., enjoy, gratitude, heartfelt, celebrate.
