Default those that make square cards

Do you mail them in an A-2 envelope, or use square envelopes? Thanks!

I mail mine in a regular A-2 envelope! Saves postage that way.

If you can fit a square card into a "regular" size envelope I would do that. Otherwise, this is what the USPS says on their website:

"The minimum size for a square envelope is 5 x 5 inches.
Square letters are subject to the $0.20 nonmachinable surcharge."

Here's a fun little trick when using A-2 envies for 4 1/4" square cards:

I only send them in square envelopes. I like things to "match"! I buy the white cards and envelope sets at HL with a coupon or M's.

I mail a2 cards and give all others by hand delivery. That way I don't have to figure out the whole "what's the postage going to be?" thing.

I'm a matchy-matchy person too...If it's square, it goes in a square envie...I don't mind paying the extra. I usually have to pay extra anyway 'cause I use ribbon on almost every card I make!
