Default Tsunami Relief for SU sets??? Ebay!

Do you think that this lady is truly sending her proceeds to the Tsunami relief? She has listed a ton of Hostess and current SU sets on Ebay including the demonstrator only thanks to you set. She is stating it is for charity. I would be disgusted to find out this is just a ploy to get more bids!!!!

I'd love to know why people are paying $36 for the stamp set we got FREE. I'm sure it won't be listed in the new catty for that price. I would be interested in knowing if she is REALLY giving to charity.

Just to be fair, it is backed by Mission Fish, Ebay's guarantee that items listed for sale with proceeds to go to charity actually do go to charity. Maybe that's why she has them listed for so much.

I know it's wrong to sell the current sets on Ebay but why would you doubt that she's donating the money?

I'm just snoopy and wondering if I missed something.

Ahhhh yes. She-who-must-not-be-named...I would like to know how the hockey sticks she has multiple Garden Collage sets for auction. You know what? Never mind. I am happier not knowing how her crooked mind works.

Catie

EDIT: Did you see that one is up to $51? I hope that it really does go to charity.

What I find interesting about this is she keeps the bidders private. That would lead me to believe she knows she is doing something wrong and doesn't want anyone contacting the buyers to make them aware of the situation.

As a non-demo, I have purchase things from Ebay, but that was before they made the policy. My demo mentioned it to me when I was talking with her one day, but I'm sure a lot of other non-demos are aware of it. I wonder if they can make more of the non-demos aware of this policy.

Default Reported it to DS

I reported it to DS and asked how come she is still there. I also let them know I know they have her name and address and that she is not a Demo. I said this must mean she is a front if she does at least 400 items a month. I suggested her demo probably has a DS assistant all her own with that kind of business. I also said there were many other people concerned about seeing her there while they are working really hard and within policy guidelines.

The person emailed me back and said had referred it to the proper department. I have sent another emal asking if the DS would have someone from the department taking care of it email me. I said I really needed to understand how this could happen and why SU couldn't request the Demo not provide product to her.

Also, one person I reported in December is not selling current stuff anymore. She has 3 things listed and all are retired.

I will let you know, but I do know if every one who sees these things would take the time to report the site and the Buyer comment page which lists the sales to DS, it would give more support to what everyone keeps saying.

JMHO,
Shirley
