you know...I might post this on another board that I am on...as a real example of my craft.....LOL...that would be funny...!
I remember this foil card (who could forget???)! When I first saw it, I think I may have screamed and jumped!! It certainly holds the title of "Absolute Ugliest Card" in my book!
Do I say "Congratulations" or "I'm sorry..." ;)

Wow! That's quite a collection, Krista!! I'm so glad the card you sent me for my baby card swap was super cute! If I had seen these first, I may have been scared to see what you might send!

I've learned not to save my ugly cards. ;)
Nah those were some of my earlier cards. I'm improving I think.

I am in histarics myself... I remember that thread in fact I posted a card on it, and you are sooooo right, that thread was HILARIOUS... AND I remember the tin foil card and I am laughing by bum off just thinking about it.... I truly love these kind of threads. Especially when some sweet soul compliments your "Ugly Card" and you KNOW, it does not deserve any compliment what so ever. It's like they are trying to justify it for you...

I mean this in the most sweetest sincere way possibly. I am laughing so hard, I literally have tear drops falling on my keyboard. I am going to put that tin foil card in my favs for when I need a little pick me up.... I just keep thinking back to that old thread. Thanks you!!!

ROFL...I think that was what was sooooooooooo funny to me when I went through that thread last time, was reading the comments that people had left for the "ugly" cards. Things like, "I love how you used ribbon," just have me DYING here!!! Too funny!!

LOL, waaaaayyyyy too funny. I know exactly what you mean tho...
My ugliest cards usually are a result of not knowing when to STOP! When I fear an ugly card has reared its head I always ask my firiend, " Do you like this or does it look like someone threw up on it?!?!?"
Oh, Bluebear wins, again! Those teaposts were a close second. And what about Mr Potato Head? Here's my ugly card that I sent Bluebear for winning first place...put on your sunglasses!
All I can say is thank god I didn't take pictures of my earliest cards!! Hopefully, none of the unlucky recipients have saved them, and they cannot come back to haunt me. Nevertheless, I have some real winners in my gallery, and I cordially invite you all to feast your eyes, and enjoy a laugh at my expense!
I made this one for a VSN challenge and I loved the idea, but the execution left much to be desired, lol. Now you all know why I'm taking Julie's class on card design, lol.;)
I love these threads, it is so much fun to pull out those whoopsies.....
Now you have to understand my uglies get tossed quite quickly, and believe me there have been some doozies. This one I decided to post just cause it was a definate warning to others using acrylics for the first time.
Not only is the card horrid, but the photography sucks as well.
It can't compare to the tinfoil card. That makes me laugh just thinking about it.

OK, I wasn't going to upload this card, but this thread showed up at the right time. I made this card last week for the sketch challenge, but also has a thank you for my mom. She came to visit and we went to IKEA opening day. She was a trouper and got up at 4 am with me and stood in line in the cold for 4 hours. So here is my IKEA Thank You aka Ugly Card.

I actually made my ugliest card a couple of weeks ago for my first month on the dirty dozen!! I threw it away already though! Darn!
Girls, it was a doozie, Julie would have kicked me right off the dirtpile for that atrocity.
I had this great idea for an OLC. I did a bunch of masking and stamping. I peeled away the mask and it was the hottest mess you've ever seen. SERIOUSLY hard on the peeps!
It made me bust out laughing out loud, husband came in to see what was up. He looked down and said "WHOA!"
Shoot, wish I had it to share!!
Bluebear, you're making me LOL! The comments on the tinfoil card are a riot!
