Uh Oh, I think I ruined my new craft pad

Like a moron I had cleaned my background stamp on my Scrub, it had Night of Navy classic ink.
The rubber looked clean, then I used my brand new So Saffron craft pad on the background and the image looked muddy. When I looked at the craft pad it now looks dirty...is it ruined?

Can it be fixed??

Try blotting up some of the ink from the ink pad with a damp paper towel, then refresh the pad with reinker (that is, if you have the reinker). I had to do this with some of my Classic ink pads after someone didn't clean off the stamp after using a dark color and going to a lighter one.

I did the same thing with my Pretty in Pink craft pad and what I thought was a clean brayer. I just took a wipe to get off as much of the discolored ink as I could. I didn't need to reink, but if you have a reinker, I would go ahead and reink it. I hope you have as much luck as I did.
