Default Using Beads to Make Cards

Hi all. I make jewelry, but find I have an excess of beads of various sizes and shapes. Any suggestions of how they can be used for card making? Also, if anyone knows of any samples in the gallery I'd love the site. Thanks. Synsee

I have used a tacky sheet (same stuff as the red terrifically tacky tape, but in a sheet), cut out in a shape and stuck beads to it...I was quite pleased with the results...here is an example from my gallery. The beads have stuck well...I filled in the gaps with microbeads. I have seen others put down a strip of the red tape and stick the beads to that in a line on a card. I did a gallery search using beads and microbeads as keywords...here are the results! HTH

I like to just add a few beads on the ends of cord like this...
Golden Grapes
...or I sometimes stitch them on in a little clump like this...
Purple Ink.
Another place to use beads is in a shaker card. (link is to instructions) Look in the gallery for the word Shaker and you will find hundreds of photos.

Hope this helps

Ok, here are some ideas:

Use them in a shaker card. Here's a sample from the gallery:

Use them as a border. Sample:

Use them for a beaded handle on a purse card. Sample:

String some on wire to add a little something. Sample:

Can't wait to see what you come up with.

I also enjoy using beads on my cards. Here's one example, but there are quite a lot more in my gallery - sorry, I don't know how to add multiple links to a post like this so check my gallery link in my signature below!
