Default Using Mod-Podge to seal Paint cans?

Please help me. I just finished a beautiful paint can for my niece, wanted to know if any one has ever used mod-podge to seat it, finishing touch. Any info would be greatly appreciated!! You are all so creative and experienced, Thankyou so much in advance!!

It puts a bit of a glossy finish coat on it. It also helps to seal in the edges so they dont come loose. do a test on some scrap paper and see what you think.

I used Mod Podge on the lunch tins at a stamp camp. At first the paper bubbled and wrinkled. Do not dispair! After a few more THIN coats of mod podge and after a complete 24 hours of drying the bubbles and wrinkles will lay down. It really does give it a high gloss finish and preserves it very nicely. Good luck.

You have to make sure you use Mod Podge on the bottom and top if you use it at all. I used double stick tape on the bottom and Mod Podge over the top. I had bubbles that were not fixable in seconds. I peeled off the entire sheet of paper and started over. If you use thin layers and let them dry in between, you'll be fine.

Woooo Hooooo I did it!!!! Thankyou all so much for your input. My paint can has turned out Beautiful. I had used the sticky strip to attach all the cardstock and embellishments, so I was a little worried about the air bubbles. Obviously, I felt alot of positive support from you girls, I was patient and only applied thin coats like you said, lots of time for drying in between, and VIOLA!!! So THANKYOU SO MUCH!!!! YOU LADIES ROCK!!!!!
